Raps Fan Here..

Post#1 » by xxPrimierxx » Mon Jun 22, 2009 11:11 pm

Hey Memphis.
Just had a trade proposal.
How would you guys like a trade for Chris Bosh.

To Memphis
Chris Bosh
Jose Calderon

To Toronto
Rudy Gay
Second Overall Pick
Rights to Hamed Haddadi
Greg Bucker

The reason we would do it is to place that star wing player beside Bargnani and Calderon.
We could grab Haddadi and place him as our C since we shift Bargnani to PF. Draft Rubio now that Calderon is out of the picture. And Greg Bucker would be a filler.

Now tell me if you guys are up for it.
Would you do it? Why or Why Not? Any other trades involving Bosh and Gay on your minds..?

As a Raptors fan, I'm wondering why we're including Jose Calderon in this deal...

I also had a less complex trade on my mind.

Rudy Gay and the second overall pick for Chris Bosh.
What do you think?

Without an extension Bosh is worth significantly less than you think - at least to the Grizz.

Really. I wouldnt be so picky myself if I were a grizzly fan. Nobody really wants to play in Memphis. Rubio said so, Thabeet said so.. If I were a grizzly fan, I would just take Chris Bosh and his bird rights along with Mayo and sign another good player and hope for the best. This is the best deal youd probably get all off season.

Oh, they have? Give me a quote where either of them says it himself.

Second, Bosh is worth significantly less without an extension, that's not really debatable - it's common sense if you're dealing with people that are economically rationale. In fact, IIRC there was a headline linked on the front page last week that said the Raptors we're getting paltry offers for Bosh.

Finally, on a personal level, I (myself) wouldn't make that trade for Bosh because he's soft and couldn't get it done in a watered down Eastern conference - he looks alot like Pau-lite to me. Further, he believes he's entitled to a big pay day, and I wouldn't want the Grizz to make the same mistake twice: giving franchise-player-money to a player that doesn't fit the bill.

Neither of them has said that he doesn't want to play in Memphis. That has been purely Chad Ford placing words into their mouths and idiots like you leeching on to it.

It's not exactly like people are lined up at the border to come play for Toronto. What was the last big free agent you guys have signed? You're all still butt hurt about Zo giving you guys the finger. So don't come here with that "nobody wants to play for Memphis" crap like Toronto is some type of mecca for NBA players.
