I am a die hard BobCats fan and my cousin is a Grizzlie fan. The Grizzlies have made two playoff appearances only to be SWEPT both times! Considering this, my cousin and I have an ongoing debate on who will win a playoff game first. I bring this question to the RealGM family.
WHO WILL WIN A PLAYOFF GAME FIRST??????

That's three post season appearances - but still no wins

I think the Grizz will, only because Charlotte still has some residual Shinn stench on it that hasn't been fully removed yet.

Re: BobCats vs. Grizzlies
Charlotte will definitely be the first to win a playoff game.
1- Charlotte is in the East with which gives them the easier chance to make the playoffs every year rather than having to win 45-50 games just to make an 8th seed in the West. That division Memphis is in is also one of the toughest in the league. They have the tougher of the two teams schedule every year.
2- Charlotte also showed vast signs of improvement coming out of that ballclub last year. They flirted with making the playoffs but didn't quite reach it. With that extra year of experience, team chemistry, and progression gives them the most likely chance to improve even more this year, not to mention the draft choice of Gerald Henderson gives them another weapon off the bench. They are still looking to add another big man down low that can rebound and play strong low post defense.
3- Charlotte has Larry Brown. He's one of the best coaches in the league hands down. He knows what he's doing there and is slowly putting together a great ballclub. He's created great teams out of bad ones a countless number of times and is doing it again here in Charlotte. I have always said if you give Larry Brown 2 years with any team in the NBA, that he will turn them into winners and a playoff basketball team at the end.

Charlotte will probably never make playoffs. They still dont' have any great players in all this time.

I think the grizzs will make playoff on 10-11 season. so they will win a game then. bobcats wont be in playoffs in the next 3-4years.

Re: BobCats vs. Grizzlies
The fact that the Bobcats were not out of the playoff picture until the last week of the season would bode well for them actually making the post season as soon as this year. Their conference is not as competitive and once you are in the playoffs anything could happen. The Grizz still seem to be two years away from making any noise, but their long term future seems a little brighter.
First to playoff victory Bobcats.
Although if the Bobcats go thru an ownership change and start making financial decisions ahead of basketball decisions?
