Bucks fan here: What did you guys think of Hakim Warrick during this time in Memphis since I've heard the Bucks might get him soon. What are his main strengths/weaknesses? THanks and Best of luck to the Grizzlies next season. You've got a great young team for the future. Gasol, Mayo, Gay, Conley, Thabeet, Sam Young, etc. Thanks again guys.

I left my thoughts on Hak in y'all's thread about possibly landing him.

In summation, he's a tweener. Good offensive game. No defense - and those that think he can "learn" to be a defender at this stage of his career are kidding themselves. He doesn't have enough range and can't defend 3's. Too small to effectively post up or defend 4's. He's a nice bench player if your second unit can cover for his lack of defense. Hak is what he is. If you can sign him cheap, he's perfectly fine. Good locker room guy, good community guy. However, anyone that thinks he's starter material is likely also delusional.

It's official that Hak has sign with the Bucks. He can help bolster the Bucks offense off the bench, but do the Bucks have enough defense help to cover Hak's lack of defensive tenacity.

I really hate to see him go.......................Even with his flaws, he's still a solid contributor and great community guy.

There's an interesting article on the commercial appeal today. It says it was Heisley that wanted to let Warrick walk, not Wallace or Hollins. It was all about money, not basketball.

It also went on to say that they have let go every single scout and will not have any scouts for next season. Not one.

It humourously said Heisley will get rid of the ushers at games because the seat numbers are on the tickets, and one dancer should suffice. Basically it said that as long as Heisley is the owner basketball will be secondary. Money is #1.

It's pretty sad.

I'm 100% fine with this - and I HATE Heisley's MO. Hak's been a failure in Memphis since his arrival. I was against the pick, and have stood solidly against his play for the Grizz from day one. He's a great guy and is good in the locker room. But is tweener game is the antithesis of everything an NBA skill set should be. Good riddance to the player, best of luck to the person.
