everyone outside of the grizzlies org and fans will criticize us and call us dumb rednecks about the Pau trade even if we were to get it all together and win an NBA championship. They'd say "well those 3 years they sucked were because they gave away PAU" when in fact Pau was on 1.5 of those teams anyway.

of course Heisley will get egg on his face for Iverson no matter. But at least we're doing something. People who don't care about the Grizzlies don't understand that. At least we are bringing in real NBA players for once rather than fringe like Darko, JCN, etc. Either way we are going to be ridiculed just like the Memphis Tigers that had one of best seasons of all time and still totally unappreciated by the rest of the nation.

As bad as it sounds, he's so right. He knows that he will get no respect for the Iverson deal. Unfortunately, he's not totally innocent, but he's doing something. I feel like this is the first time we have a team of real players. How they will work out, I don't know. But it will be a lot of fun to watch nonetheless.
