I was waiting for that game so long. Arenas is one of my favourite players ever.he is on most of my fantasy teams. Its a pity that when i went to DC he was injured. I watched the hawks @washington. my second and the last game i watched in an arena.

Anyway, grizzs are still my team. Lets play with some damn sense (like we've been doing lately but in the mavs game...)

Go Grizzs GO!! :wordyo:

Washington is a dangerous team. They are in a bit of dissarrray, with veterans questioning each other. But with the talent of their big three of Arenas, Jamison, and Butler, when their backs are to the wall they can come out throwing caution to the wind and put up big scoring numbers. Another thing the Wizards have that alot of teams the Grizzlies play don't have is a bunch of big men to throw at Randolph and Gasol. Jamison, Blatche, Haywood, and McGee are all big and strong.

I wouldn't bet money on this game one way or the other. But the Grizzlies have been able to start games off in good fashion for the first half this season and if they come out with intensity they may be able to get the Wizards down early and have the self doubts get to them. Who knows really though?

We need to win games like this at home if we are going to keep improving, I say Grizz by 8.

Welcome to the board. one grizz fan more!

I remember we have made some years a threat to know about ourselves...age,real location, what we do for a living, ... as we are not too many grizz fans i think that kind of threat might be a good idea. what you all think?

Hey Downtown!! My using your quote on our board was an inside joke. Our coach refuses to play McGee so it has been the subject of discussion on our board. Your post was quite timely so I used it :) McGee needs to put on some serious weight, but I like the rest of your comment so thanks.

arenas % and haywood points production are not what they are supposed to have @half. once arenas goes for 10 of 26 or something like that i guess we will be winning by 10

His percentage isnt as bad as it seems. He started the year horrible just coming back from 2 years but he's been shooting way better lately. He was in the mid 30's for a big part of the year and is up to 41 now so he's shooting alot better then you think, despite what you saw from him in the Wolves game

Wow buddy, Sam young has already attempt 8 shots @half, more than any other grizz. how could it be? despite his two offensivo boards in wich he tried. someone should tell the guy to pass the ball. i love the energy he plays but come on.... pass it!

Update at the half.

Wizards 51
Grizz 49

We're doin a good job on the boards so far. We need to finda way to force the Wizards Big 3 into an offensive struggle. They are combined for 15-28 from the field and are shooting at a good clip.

Grizzlies are pulling away.

I regret my preseason hopes for Washington. They are not fun to watch and don't have any glue. Caron, Arenas and Jameson are just so talented they are good enough alone to keep up with teams but win less games. Arenas is quite good. But I am sad how bad they have been this year. Grizz better win this game. They are by far the better team
