Very nice win, glad we could pull this one out without Rudy in there tonight.

It was touch and go with the Grizz losing the lead at times, but to win w/o Rudy was a well tested win for the team.

Great win! But how did we almost give up a 10 point lead with ~5 minutes to go!?!? FWIW, we apparently lead the league in losses when up 10 at one point (7 total) according to marc stein at espn.

I thought the best thing about this game was the way they hung in there and didn't give up. Mayo was struggling early on and the team made a number of mistakes and turnovers. But they kept playing hard and eventually things turned their way and it was good to see how the young team handles a close, back and forth game and took charge going into the fourth(at least for most of the fourth).

It did seem that after that one timeout with a little over 2 minutes left that they seemed to play somewhat nervous and that's when Washington began to double team and force some bad play from Memphis, but Randolph coming up clutch with those free throws right at the end was great. And instead of folding their tent in overtime they dug in for the win.

It was one of those character wins, especially with Gay out. That's the kind of telling trait that shows this team is beginning to take it to the next level with their confidence and trust in each other.

GRIZZ certainly is in the driver seat on these games. how many times have we watched them fight back from a multiple digit deficit in 4th quarter only to get blasted in crunch time and find ourselves down 6 points and the game out of hands? only very rare did we come back to win and usually we're down all night. Not so lately. Lately we control our destiny in these games and it's the enemy that has to claw back into games to keep up with ZBO and company. We're on the better sside ,and give ourselves the chance to win and should get even tougher and continue winning. hoepfully! :P

The Wizards have 3 stars (Jameson, Arenas, Butler) at much higher maturity than our 3 best (OJ, Rudy, ZBO ?) . Wizards are just a poor team - I still must say. Haywood is just a bigger version of Erick Dampier with slightly better shooting. Has none of the skills that Gasol, Perkins, Cummings, Derrick Coleman or other good big men have. Disappointing to watch them. Glad we eeked out the win there. Let's rock the Pacers on Wednesday. They've been getting completely blown out by worse teams. Hopefully Gay is back and we build on this.
