Boston fan here, whats your thoughts on:
Marko Jaric / Memphis first for Glen Davis / Boston first / Brian Scalabrine (expiring)
My thoughts are this. Memphis is looking better and their pick likely won't be top 6 this season. (I say 6 b/c to me the draft drops off after Wall, Favors, Davis, Johnson, Turner, Henry) They're owner isn't known as the biggest spender and Rudy needs a new contract. This trade frees up money to re-sign Gay and adds a cheap young pf to back up Randolph. Obviously it hurts to move back so many spots but Davis hopefully adds a couple more wins and lessens the blow. Thoughts?

2) Memphis recently bought out Marko Jaric, so he can't be included in any deal.
3) Memphis isn't going to move back 15-20 spots in the draft just to get Glen Davis. Give me a break. Dude doesn't have anywhere near that kind of value.

What kind of drugs make you think Davis is worth a probable lottery pick?

Re: Memphis / Boston
To me in watching Boston it's obvious that they have their three man rotation of Perkins, Garnett, and Wallace nailed down and they haven't lost anything with Davis being out. Of course he's expendable.
But to think that he warrants the Grizzlies own first round pick is a bit insulting really. They could have went after him last summer as a free agent if they thought he could help, and they would have saved mega salary by leaving Zach Randolph alone( I actually thought Davis was worth considering at the time ).
Sorry man but this deal isn't even worth considering.
