This will be a tough one, but I think we can get it.

They lost to the Cats on the road 2nite. I'm expecting them to be a bit rad weary. On top of that, TP is a bit banged up as well. This may be our chance to get them. Just execute well on both ends and they will have a shot at this.

If we get the win tonight, we'll set a new franchise record for consecutive home wins (8). As it stands, we are currently tied with the mark (7) set by the 03-04 Grizz (50 win team) in January 2004.

Usually, Tim Duncan hasn't played the second night of back-to-backs just to ensure that he is healthy and energized come playoff time. This is the second night of a back-to-back for both teams so it will be fun to watch. Hopefully, with the rest the starters got last night, we will have the energy to come out on top. Go Grizz!!

anyone notice it has Lester Hudson DOB as 1969 on the main grizzlies.realgm.com page?
this should be a good game but a strong win. I hope Michael Finley doesn't come out of nowhere and rain threes.. bad memories

10 point lead at the half. Gasol is playing well and Carroll is playing surprising well - seemed to keep Zbo on the bench a little longer than usual in the 2nd quarter.

Grizz win! That was too close for comfort - we had a 13 point lead and promptly gave up an 11-0 run in the fourth to let it become a game again. But, great win - a new franchise record for consecutive home wins.

Grizz still have no idea how to hold onto a lead.
Good win though!

Let's remember that's the Spurs, a veteran group that know how to stay poised and step it up in fourth quarters. Regardless of the Grizzlies not maintaining their big lead they still held the fort better than they did last season when they would totally crumble. That in itself shows the growth of this team.
I have to say though on a bit of an off topic, in watching the Hawks/Suns game last night it showed how valuable having a super sixth man like Jammal Crawford is. If Memphis had that sort of guy that can play multiple positions and impact games they would be solidly in the playoff picture instead of just scratching and clawing to keep up.
It's all good right now though and like the rest of you I'm enjoying the ride while it lasts.

That much is true. This team let alone any team can't just survive on starters alone. Need more power from off the bench to keep things in balance so the players don't get too burnout.
