As much as I wouldn't mind CDR as a Grizz. What are the chances it could come to fruition?

Follow-up on rumor:

"We're not looking to trade Chris," Thorn said. "He's more guard than forward but through circumstance, has played forward and still had very good moments. I can understand why [teams] like him. He has talent and a small salary."

Is it true? Is it damage control on Thorn's part? I'd imagine it is the former rather than the latter but to each their own...

I like CDR but I don't see him as the spark off the bench you need. Someone like Sasha Vujacic, Korver or Nate Robinson is a better fit. You need a battle-tested young veteran player who can knock the 3pter.

Korver's the only one of those three I'd like to see as a Grizz.

Vujacic would come in thinking he is the MVP of our team after leaving champ Lakers. Korver would be nice. Nasty Nate Dogg already pulled a David Lee on us and refused to be traded here.

The guy at top of my list is still Anthony Morrow.

If we want to talk about really making the run to the championship beyond this year, my man is Chris Bosh. Throw everything at him. :o

Nate Robinson would be great off the Grizzlie's bench, since he's a one man offense and doesn't need plays run for him. Thabeet would play well off him, I think, since his shotblocking would hide Nate's defensive deficiencies a bit.

Nate's already said "no" to the Grizz. Who wants a player that doesn't want to be here.

Vujacic isn't consistant at all. Korver is a guy I wouldn't mind, but he's been too injured prone to this point. Nate Robinson has been explained already.

Man, I'd love for the Grizz to get CDR. I doubt it'll actually happen though.

dont know why they dont go after M. Miller...He has a house down here ive seen him a few times @ Malco during the summer, was a fan favorite, and played his best years here....I know hes a expiring but if Memphis were to re-acquire him they would be the favorites to re-sign him this off season, i doubt he gets anything more than 3/4 mil

I'd love to see Mike back, but he's making $9M.

Will be extremely hard to match financially.

Only way I rather see Mike come back as a Grizz if the Wiz were to agree to a buyout. Otherwise a trade would eat into the Grizz roster.
