Courtside verses center court plaza seats

Post#1 » by MajorDad » Sun Feb 14, 2010 11:57 pm

I'm going to my first Grizzlies game next month and wanted some advice on seats. We're going to the Nets game, and all the seats I' m considering are about the same price ($35-50) range through stubhub. I'm debating courtside verses center court plaza seats. my wife wants seats where she'll be able to see the game without having her view blocked. My teenage son likes seats where he can be upclose. I'm looking for a happy medium. We're not people who like to stand up to watch a game. We like to sit and watch games without people standing in front of us.

some of the options I was looking at were section 114 verses 105. 105 is behind the benches, and 114 is on the other side of the court. given a choice, is it better/cooler to be behind the player benches?

Courtside sections 104, 106, 113 and 115 are also available. Can you see the entire court from these areas , or do they just provide a good view of the end you are on? I read one review that suggested not to buy tickets in the corners or behind the baskets. I' m not sure if the seats avalable in these sections are closer to the middle or if they are closer to the corners. At this time, I only know the section and rows and not the actual seat numbers.

Can you actually see anything in the courtside rows B and C ? or do the people in the chairs block your view? would it be better be pick a courtside row such as G through K?

given a choice of sitting in 105 row L or M or 104 or 106 in rows C, F or K, which would you recommend?

There aren't a whole lot of bad seats in the Forum. If you haven't checked it out yet, you can see the 3D seat viewer here:
