You might have to replace Amare's face with JJ Hickson's tommorrow. Memphis wins either way. Good luck.

wait Amar'e started Center at allstar game but Robin Lopez takes his spot on his own team? What up wit dat?

seriously I thought Channing Frye was a 3pt guru - why doesn't he start?

I don't like the Suns anymore - let's kill them. we need to come out as a different team than the one that went 1-7 just now

Conley is really hurting this team.

Conley did some good things tonight but gee, you have to finish the easy layups. It wasn't all his fault they lost but when old man Nash is out running Conley it's emabarassing. I'm thinking of one play in particular when Nash drove by Conley on the right side of the key and simple blew by him forcing Conley to foul. Never thought I'd see the day.

Too much Conley hate, his passing cancels his shooting for me, he played fine. The real reasons for the loss was Mayo being way to passive and Gasol channeling his inner Ben Wallace

C'mon, that's not hate. That's just criticism of what I thought was a few flaws in the game. Now if I went on and on about what a horrible player he is that's hate. As far as his passing goes, his assist total for him was very good. But that same total would be considered an average to ho hum game for Nash. That's how far apart those two are in their passing.

Not your post in particular but just the general fan base crapping on this kid every chance they get. I mean in the last 16 games he's averaging 10.7 pts and 5.6 assists w/ 44% from the field, slightly above his season averages. I don't get how people keep saying he's been a reason for the current rough patch. To me the 1-8 stretch Memphis is in is because of Mayo and Gasol playing below their capabilities

Honestly, one big difference I've noticed is that when they went on that long winning stretch all five starters seemed to keep the pedal to the floor for the whole game, every game. Now the effort seems to come in spurts from different players at different times.

Whether or not fatigue is a factor isn't something I'm going to use as an excuse since I don't know that and all teams have their starters playing alot so the playing field is even. But they don't seem able to sustain the all out effort they had before.

But I think they'll get it back on track. The question is can they get back to the high level they had during December and January, or a notch below. The worst thing they can do is for individual players to try to do it all by themselves in an effort to lift the team. That is a bad recipe for this group in my opinion. They have to play for each other unselfishly and that overused buzz word, "gel" needs to come back into the fold.

I was never a Conley fan but have grown to accept that he might develop into an average starting PG. But it's 2010 after the allstar break... and he still isn't there yet. I'm just getting impatient. is he a lightning rod for the team? possibly ok maybe. We all have seen his strengths by now. We know what they are all capable of. For a #4 pick in the draft though I never saw how he was ranked that high and today my criticism I think is valid because you just can't rank him that high. It's ok to adjust your expectations to just say "ok he can be our team leader - he doesn't have to score 20 points but he should lead". Well he doesn't really do even that does he??
