I notice Brewer didn't play tonight. Is he hurt or is it a DNP - coach's decision?

how the hell can we play so inconsistent. Few days before we wind them by a solid margain and now we get beat by twenty. If we want to get to the PO then we better win every game

Young teams such as the Grizz tend to be consistently inconsistent. Bad game all around. The Grizz really miss Marc.

It's more than Marc that the Grizz are missing. They need upgrades mostly around the defensive end and get more help from the bench. A couple of good perimeter shooters can help go a long way for the Grizz.

The funny thing is that the bench has been at least helping out more in the scoring department than earlier on. But constantly giving up over 100 points is asking for trouble. With a higher tempo style starters will naturally wear down closer to the end of the season unless they get breaks from the bench and that bench has to hold down the fort on defense so the coach isn't forced to throw a starter back in too soon.

But there's really nothing that can be done at this stage of the season. You can't change your whole strategy now. You just have to suck it up and go with what has brought you this far.

I will say this. One team that was forced into looking for help is Golden State. With the big number of injuries they have endured they have had no choice but to scour the D league for help just to have enough players some games to field a team. Whether it's great scouting on their part of not, they have found some real contributors with the likes of CJ Watson, Reggie Williams, Sam Toliver, and Chris Hunter.

Alot of teams are juggling Development League players around with 10 day contracts. Besides Thabeet, how many players has Memphis brought up from the D League? I think they could have dropped Tinsley to open up a spot and tried to find bench help. But my guess is that they don't even have a scout that travels the D League circuit. It's too bad because it could be a source of cheap help.
