Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Please ensure you give a rationale for your vote; votes with no explanation will not be counted.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

PG: Mark Price 1993 - 13.1
SG: Clyde Drexler 1991 - 16.3
SF: Paul Pierce 2008 - 13.7
PF: James Posey 2008 - 5.6
C: Hakeem Olajuwon 1993 - 19.5

Bench: Ron Harper 1997 - 5.3
Bench: Rashard Lewis 2010 - 11.2
Bench: Kurt Rambis 1984 - 3.0*

Rotation:
PG: Mark Price 38 / Ron Harper 10
SG: Clyde Drexler 38 / Ron Harper 6 / Paul Pierce 4
SF: Paul Pierce 34 / Rashard Lewis 14
PF: James Posey 30 / Rashard Lewis 18
C: Hakeem Olajuwon 39 / Kurt Rambis 9

87.7/88

Vs

C: Dikembe Mutombo 38 min / Andrew Lang 10 min
Pf: Larry Bird 38 min / Grant Hill 10 min
Sf: Michael Cooper 34 min / Alvin Robertson 12 min
Sg: Ray Allen 36 min / Brent Barry 12 min
Pg: Grant Hill 28 min / Alvin Robertson 20 min

Matchup
- Assignments Price vs Cooper, Drexler vs Allen, Pierce vs Hill, Posey vs Bird, Hakeem vs Mutombo.
- Our defense is built around Hakeem with some versatile defenders around him like Posey Pierce Drexler Harper Rashard. Hakeem is up for a great series guarding Mutombo, and being able to provide help versus Bird and Hill.
- We built an highly effective Hakeem offense with shooting everywhere around the proven Clyde Hakeem duo.
- Defenses are built similarly, with an elite defensive big man in Hakeem Mutombo, an elite defensive wing in Cooper Posey, with three more offensive oriented guys, but I feel like Drexler and Pierce are solid enough on that department. I feel like Roddy doesn't match up as well, with Cooper as the only viable option against Price, but that keeps Allen's defense vulnerable (and he's less effective than Pierce and Drexler on their matchups).
- Offensively I think having both Mutombo and Cooper vs Posey as our only relative weak spot on offense gives up the edge on that department. Rashard off the bench gives up more value as an offensive difference maker compared to Alvin.

C: Dikembe Mutombo 38 min / Andrew Lang 10 min
Pf: Larry Bird 38 min / Grant Hill 10 min
Sf: Michael Cooper 34 min / Alvin Robertson 12 min
Sg: Ray Allen 36 min / Brent Barry 12 min
Pg: Grant Hill 28 min / Alvin Robertson 20 min

86 Larry Bird 19.6
01 Ray Allen 16
86 Michael Cooper 7.4
97 Grant Hill 15.7
01 Brent Barry 6
96 Dikembe Mutombo 7.7
91 Alvin Robertson 11.2
91 Andrew Lang 3

tfga: 86.6

Defense

I think My defense is really good with some of the best defenders, three former DPOYs in Mutombo, Cooper and Alvin Robertson. Then good defenders in Grant Hill, Larry Bird and I guess nothing special defenders in Ray Allen and Brent Barry. Have no idea how Andrew lang was on the defensive end ( most likely terrible )

defensive matchup

Dikembe on Hakeem Olajuwon
Larry Bird on Posey
Michael Cooper / Alvin Robertson on Paul Pierce
Ray Allen/Alvin Robertson Mark Price
Grant Hill/Alvin Roberton on Clyde Drexler

Offense

I got decent spacing overall with great threepoint shooters in Bird, Ray Allen and Brent Barry. decent ones in Cooper and Alvin Robertson so the spacing should be fine. Great offball players in RAy Allen and Larry Bird. Grant Hill can get anywhere on the court

Overall
DB build a great team around Hakeem but I think I matchup decently with him.

Posey is really good player but I think he is the worst starter on both teams, he was a bench player in the chosen season while all my guys were starters

imo Alvin Robertson is better than Rashard. Just look at his impact stats if you want

best of luck Durantbird

Both teams are very well constructed, but ultimately I prefer db's offensive firepower and fit to win the day here.

While I like both builds in general, those 32 minutes of Robertson don't quite work for me; partly because he's redundant with Hill (and adds a second non-shooter which kind of negates a lot of the benefit of going four-out), and partly because I think roddy's rotation is lacking another bigger wing to help guard Bird/Pierce/Drexler as opposed to yet another SG. I feel like Lewis is a much better fit with durantbird's overall roster construction and that makes the difference. (FYI Coop was a bench player just like Posey - I think we as a community tend to forget because we almost always use him as a starter.)
