Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.
1. Specific years for each player on your team 2. Rotations and minutes for each player 3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.
Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.
You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.
If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).
I have amazing defense here. Anchored by a realy shot alterer/blocker in KAJ at his athletic peak. Sheed doing all the elite defensive things that he does. And the wings are full with all high level defenders in Harper/Posey and MIddleton
For matchups I will go with Harper on Thomas Middleton on Battier (where he can, at times cheat to double up if needed and use his footspeed to recover out to battiers 6 attempts per game Posey will take on Doc. Wallace takes JJjr KAJ takes on Erving
Offensively we space around KAJ with shooting at every spot. KAJ offensive mastery and peak surrounded with great playmaking and shooting.
I believe that Fades team is a bit small here. With Erving playing playing PF for 18 minutes, Charlie Ward playing SG for 12 minutes I believe that I can just really overpower this team.
I also believe that my bench is vastly superior in this one. Hartenstein, Glen Rice and Wright give me far more than Fades bench

Plan A for my team is to run off makes, misses, and turnovers to generate easy transition buckets or early offense while the opposing defense is still out of position. Not only do we have Isiah at the controls and Doc on the wing, but our 4-5 combo of JJJ and peak Ewing is probably the most athletic in the draft and should be able to outrun opposing bigs. Additionally, with Isiah and Doc as ballhawks (2.2 and 2.0 spg respectively) and the insane shotblocking frontcourt of Ewing, JJJ, and Doc, we will be able create a lot of those fast breaks ourselves. When the game slows down, we have the three-pronged attack of Ewing in the mid-to-low post, Doc on the wing, and Isiah creating from the top of the key, with JJJ an overqualified fourth option who also spaces the floor. All our role players are excellent three-point shooters who take advantage of the attention drawn by our stars.
Matchup - Defensive assignments are Isiah-Harper, Doc-Posey, Battier-Middleton, JJJ-Sheed, Ewing-Kareem. - While Kareem is the best player in the series, he's up against a formidable counterpart on both ends in peak Ewing. Meanwhile, we have the clear edge in perimeter firepower with Doc and Isiah compared to Middleton and post-prime Harper. JJJ is a notch above this version of Sheed as well. I don't think Kareem outperforms Ewing by enough to make up those disparities. - Much as I like Middleton, I don't think he holds up as the undisputed #2 option with Battier hounding him all series.
I like Middleton more than most but it's hard to vouch for him as a true #2 in the context of our games. Kareem is comfortably the best player in the series but IT/Erving/Ewing are comfortably the next best 3. And Battier/JJJ/Ewing make for an elite defensive frontcourt.
