Matchup - Defensive assignments: EJ vs Payton, Deron vs Bridges, Kirilenko vs Dirk, Durant vs Pierce, Hakeem vs Howard. - We match up well. Kidd and EJ are both great POA defenders to disrupt their flow, plus Kirilenko is a great counter against Dirk. Durant doesn't have an ideal matchup against him as well as Dwight who might struggle against Hakeem. - Deron Durant Hakeem are a superb leading trio, with great fit and chemistry. While EJ and Kirilenko provide additional great options to round out the first lineup. Kidd is comfortably the best bench piece, with O'Neale Kleber as good as any of Fade's bench guys.

The opposing gravity of Dwight's rim pressure and Dirk's lethal all-court shooting will be a nightmare to deal with simultaneously. Dirk in particular is famous for opening up the floor for dynamic perimeter players, so Payton and Pierce should get plenty of runway going downhill by using Dirk as a screener. Bridges as a fifth option ensures there are no places for a defender to rest. Dirk and Pierce is a deadly combo for us to lean on at crunch time.
Defensively, we have 48 minutes of elite paint protection for Dwight and Outlaw, and a strong perimeter group of Payton, Bridges, Pierce, DFS, and Ward.
Matchup - Defensive matchups are Payton on D-Will, Pierce on Jones, Dirk on AK, Bridges on KD, Dwight on Hakeem. We can cycle though a number of solid options on both KD (Bridges, Pierce, DFS) and Hakeem (Dwight and Outlaw). - We have greater depth of offensive firepower with four All-Star/All-NBA/MVP level players, plus Bridges as a wildly overqualified fifth option. In particular, this version of Bridges is more than capable of attacking a weaker defender like D-Will.
