- Defensive assignments: Billups on Harden, Luka on Stockton, Peja on Kirilenko, Battier/Davis on Barkley, Davis/Wallace on Gasol.
- We match up well here. Billups/Christie/Battier are all great options against Harden, with Battier having the versatility, size and strength to hold his own against Barkley, while Davis or Wallace wait inside. In Wallace minutes, Davis guards Barkley and Battier or Christie take Harden.
- Stockton has no chance against Luka’s size, and Harden/Barkley give Luka easy targets to attack in the pick-and-roll. With AD’s ability to drag Gasol out of the paint, every action puts their weakest defenders in the spotlight.
- Luka and AD form an elite PnR duo — Luka’s vision and patience combined with AD’s vertical threat collapse defenses. When defenses help, Billups and Peja punish them from deep.
- Our bench strengthens both ends — Wallace gives us an elite defensive anchor, Christie adds another high-level Harden defender, and Barry extends our spacing.

My team is well-rounded defensively
I have Stockton as a top perimeter defender, Kirilenko all around and Barkley as well, and Gasol with great rim-protection that doesn't hurt his mobility to defend outside as well with Davis. With only 4 true threats for me as Battier is very limited relative to others.

On offense I can use Luka's huge liability with a 5-men attacking power. I have great shooting and play making in Harden and Stockton, a mid-range threat in Barkley that I don't see DB stops at all.
Gasol is the best center in the NBA on the selected season.
And I must point out Harden again on one of the great offensive overall and scoring specifically all time.
