Here is a quick list of what you need in your writeup.

1. Specific years for each player on your team
2. Rotations and minutes for each player
3. Reasoning as to why your team will win and/or why people should vote for you.

Do not vote in this thread until both managers have submitted their writeups. Once the writeups are posted, I will add a poll, and the team with the most votes after 24 hours will advance. EACH MANAGER SHOULD ALSO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN TEAM IN THE POLL - IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, YOU ARE SIMPLY GIVING AWAY A VOTE. If the votes are tied, we will decide the matchup via AI vote.

You are not required to state or explain your vote, but you are free to comment in the thread if you want to.

If writeups aren't posted within 24 hours, we will vote solely based on the players they have drafted (and any rotations they have posted on their roster page).

Jordan is always a tough match but I think I got enough of an advantage at most of the other positions to take this one. Shaq is a dominant inside presence that his squad just simply cannot contain with Sheed and Lakers Dwight. Pennys size and playmaking should overwhelm Billups, while his ability to push tempo gives Shaq easier scoring chances in transition. Battier/Pippen/Iggy is an elite trio to rotate on Jordan forcing him into tougher contested looks instead of rhythm jumpers. Meanwhile, KAT stretches the floor against Lamar, pulling him away from help-defense opportunities and punishing him with outside shooting.

Off the bench, Harden adds an elite scoring punch and pick-and-roll creation that no one on Fades bench can match, while Iggy provides defensive versatility to further disrupt Jordan’s rhythm.

Penny on Billups
Battier/Iggy/Pippen can all rotate on Jordan
Pippen on Jalen
Towns on Odom
Shaq on Sheed

Offensive setup is similar in broad strokes to the real-life Bulls. J-Dub plays the Pippen role as a secondary playmaker, slasher, and transition force. Billups is a massively upgraded version of the caretaker PGs that typical playing with MJ and Pippen. Sheed gives us a low-post threat, and Odom does a little bit of everything. Our defense is rock solid with plenty of positional size and versatility and no weak spots.

Matchup
- Defensive assignments are straight up. Penny and Pippen being shaky shooters allows us to shrink the floor, especially with MJ and J-Dub being excellent help defenders.
- We will use Billups pick-and-roll to draw both Shaq and KAT into the action and attack them. This was a big part of how Billups was able to win Finals MVP in 2004, and this version is a level above where he was at that time. Odom is pretty dangerous making reads out of the short roll as well.
- Our perimeter trio of MJ, J-Dub, and Billups is a lot more dynamic even when you factor in Harden off the bench.

Good luck Jon.
