Draft Update

Lever was the 14th overall pick. It's a good idea to check the first page of the draft thread before picking. Every pick is posted and you can simply use the "find" function on your computer, type in the last name, and see if a player has been picked. Skimming the list would probably prevent incorrect picks as well.
The Jazz have one pick pending due to the selection of an unavailable player.
REMINDER TO EVERYONE: The time limit is now four hours. We only have three rounds until the draft is finished and we can definitely power through this. If you're concerned about missing your pick, please send a list or mention a couple of players to a fellow GM who picks after you. It'll be great to move towards trades/playoffs for some of us, and some of us are really looking forward to the next (totally loaded) draft!
SECOND: If you would like to relinquish your franchise at the end of any era, please let me know ASAP so we can post it for a replacement GM! Also, we can expand by up to three teams for the next era. Mention it to any dependable posters who you think would be interested. Expansion franchises pick starting 4th.
FINALLY... If anyone is interested in becoming the commissioner and running the next era, please let me know!!! You should be willing to check in frequently and send out notification e-mails from time to time. The primary responsibilities will be communicating with participants during the draft to make sure we keep the pace up, receiving and tallying votes, and keeping an updated draft list on the first page of the draft thread.

The Rockets with their 7th round selection in the 80-83 Keeper League Draft, the Houston Rockets are pleased and surprised to be taking. . . . . . .
David "Skywalker" Thompson
A little past his prime but still one of the most explosive players in the era, over 25 points per game on 50% shooting. An underrated man defender, and one of the better weakside defenders in the league. He can easily fill in a role as the starting SF with our big frontcourt, or could easily force one of the top SG combos in the league.

With Sabas permission we will begin auto picking for your team.
Bulls, Magic and any others. I want to wrap this up before the allstar game ends. A playoff seeding and writeups will be started by Monday and voeting can begin on Weds.
