Yes send the amount of years with the salary for each year.

Teams can offer free agent contracts to any player that they want to; also I'll start sending e-mails back in a couple of days after most teams have sent their offers in for free agents.

Why was there never a period to resign players? I think its ridiculous that I never had the option to resign Granger before he entered FA.

I emailed someone every day trying to resign him and every single time I got "We aren't to that part yet."

Re: RealGM GM a Team - Free Agency Information Thread
I posted a question on the CBA board to see if a player option after the 2nd year of a 5 year deal is legal/kosher. IF not then both Bynum and Granger should be back on the market as the contracts they signed would be null and void.

i'll answer that right now. options can only occur when there is one yr left on the deal.
a player option during the 2nd yr of a 5 yr deal is impossible.

Well then no offense but you weren't paying attention. Myself and a few other GMs had no problems resigning any of our free agents.

Re: RealGM GM a Team - Free Agency Information Thread
We are waiting for a few GM's to send in their offers (they wanted to the end of the weekend) once those offers have been submitted more free agents will start signing (there's a backlog since a player's best offer right now may be for the MLE, but he may be 6th on another team's list and being offered 10 million a year; thus once a few more of the top 5 or 6 free agents sign; a lot more players will know what the best offers they receive will be. So please be patient since by Monday there should be more signings.

Thanks SamBone
Also, every team must have a minimum team salary of 46,425,000 which is 75% of the cap by the end of free agency.

By tomorrow free agents will start to sign with teams even if they think that they should be getting a better offer; so send in your final offers.
