The LA Clippers are proud to select Jason Kidd. He'll form a dynamic duo with Lamar Odom and hopefully give this team some more life. (My roster will be up today, really sorry about the delay)

I'll take Ray Allen, and am in the process of updating my roster as I type.

No time limit just yet and I've talked to everyone except hit em up, so we should be good to go.

Thanks to whoever (cellar I presume) updated the thread.

CLE has 4 hours from now to pick, I've already sent him numerous emails and I know he is quite active.

If he hasn't picked by then I'll give him the best player available.

I'm giving CLE A.I. They have Miller at PG so they have no need for another one.

That leaves me with the next pick. I'll take Billups. DAL is next.

Now its my turn im going to select Shawn Marion for his defense and athleticism who i think will fit well with the future my team is going to have. My core will now consist of Pierce, Walker, and Marion.

Maybe Cleveland wanted Billups and was gonna trade Miller???? how do you know commish? How is it fair that you get billups just becuase he already has a PG? Billups COULD have been the number one pick in this contraction draft. He might have wanted the BPA which is Billups. IM just saying, in this type of game you cant just "give him A.I.". It changes the whole game.

ok I'm fine with giving CLE Billups, and saying that Billups is the 1# pick over Kidd is..pretty questionable. I'd gladly give CLE Billups and take A.I.

What do you guys think?

lets wait until he responds and see what he wants, idc if he wants A.I., but thats just not fair to select him someone.

Chill, the guy was contacted and didn't make his pick within a reasonable time limit. So in that scenario, we have to go with the BPA. I don't know what your thinking is, but in 1999-2000, Iverson was a superstar. The best scorer in the league and an icon for the time period. To consider Billups over him just because eventually he becomes a stud PG later on in his career isn't really arguable. I mean I could see why Cleveland MAY make that pick himself, but when you're looking from a BPA scenario, we have to assume Iverson is the natural fit. He's the better player for a long while, isn't a free agent at the end of the year (which Billups is), and won't take 5 years to blossom into something productive.

If you guys choose to wait for him that's up to you, I'll send him a message and see what's up regardless.
