GM a Dynasty - 2000 Free Agency

Ok signings will be annouced here.

So far I've only gotten offers from two GM's. I will wait an additional 24 hours so that everyone knows that FA has started and can start sending in offers. The offers that have been made will likely be accepted as no player is being bid on by more then one team.

THIS ALSO INCLUDES EXTENSIONS!

allstar_1264@hotmail is where you can send in offers. I won't respond probably will announce here if they accept or decline, but I will confirm that I've gotten them.

Is this the free agency before the 99-00 season or after?

i work tonight and tomarrow night, so i wont be able to do my FA until wednesday morning/day.... but then i have 6 full days off so i can catch up on everything then....

i will be resigning Shard, Miller, Bell, and Anderson, and letting glen rice and others walk....

Rashard is an RFA. I'm not sure how the Bell signing is going to work given he's a "rights to" player.

Brad Miller is also a restricted FA, so you should be expecting offers on both from other teams potentially.

I also think that this FA period should last a little longer. I'm personally not making any bids, but people have to figure out who's restricted, who's unrestricted, what the max is, etc.

Also, are people allowed to make offers with no trade clauses in them? I can't recall specifically if they were allowed at this point or not.

the free agency that started Friday was for the undrafted contraction players. All of the guys you mentioned are on your team untill the end of the 2000 season (I believe we are ranking teams this weekend). The free agency going on now is for the players that are not on a team now before we playout the 1999/2000 season. The guys you mentioned are not free agents (or RFA) until after the 2000 season and draft.

Sorry should have made it more clear. This is the FA period for both non picked FA's and for 2000 FA's. Then we vote for the year and decide a winner. Then we draft for 2000. I know it's a bit confusing but its in the interest of saving time.

Btw I am still taking in offers.

Guys if you want to keep your own FA's get I'm your offers for extensions.

BI, if you're doing both at once you need to get a list of restricted free agents, unrestricted, etc so people know who they CAN bid on.

Don't worry I'm making sure everyone gets a chance to get in an offer if tehy want to before FA's start signing. Obviously only if they want to/have caproom.

little confused. players are either on a roster or are leftover contraction players, or a waived player. nobody else is a free agent

Thats what I though Sam. This should only be the contraction draft free agency.

Followed by the 99-00 season which includes the voting.

Followed by the 2000 draft and free agency.

Correct?

ICe keeps mentioning 2000 free agents and I have no clue what that means since we have no played the 2000 season yet or have the 2000 draft so how can anyone be a FA? I have sent mt contraction free agent list in prior to free agency starting (should have started Friday by the schedule) and am still confussed. Are our rankings still due Thursday since we have not be rewarded free agents yet?

The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to sign two players to contracts.

1. We are proud to announce the signing of veteran PG John stockton to a contract

Year 1 : $ 4.5 mil
Year 2 : $ 4.5 mil (Team option)

We are pleased to add a future Hall of famer to or lineup. He can step in a be our starting PG for the next 2 years to help groom our prized young PG of the future. And John is so excited to hopefully but the cherry (a ring) on top of his Hall of Fame career. We believe he is the final piece to what we consider a championship team.

2. We also have signed Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson

Year 1 : $ 4.25 mil
Year 2 : $ 4.75 mil

Big Dog would become my starting SF moving Mash to the 6th man role. This may be the move to put us over the top!

Tim Thomas...$3,000,000 -- $4,000,000(unguaranteed)

Vin Baker......$3,000,000
