Re: All-Time Franchise League - HoF Restriction (9 Spots left)
I considered the Pacers since they have a HoF snub in Daniels but since they lack another HOFer its not that advantagous like with the Bulls. Dont know how Kirk is a better guard than Van Lier or Sloan or Love but I look forward to the challenge.

When I did the initial list, I thought they could only have one "all-star" in terms of career appearances. Using either over Gilmore seemed like a bad idea. Now that I know that's not the case, they'll both be on my bench, but I need Kirk in the starting line-up for SOME spacing.

Sloan had 3pt range so there's no advantage for Kirk here.

Any evidence of that? I'm not challenging you, I just wasn't aware.

Bucks
KAJ, Bogut
Cummings, Baker, Sikma
Dandridge, Marques, Pressey
Moncrief, Redd
Big O, Casell, A. Robertson
I'll edit later.
BTW, Spurs team would be amazing in the paint: Duncan, Robinson AND Gilmore. Unfortunately their perimeter players are much worse (Parker, Moore, Roberston, Elliot, Anderson, Gale, Bowen).

Re: All-Time Franchise League - HoF Restriction (8 Spots left)
Maybe we should have gone with
1 HOF player
2 All-Stars (in the given season)
3 Starters (in the given season)
4 Reserves (less than 1/4 games played as starter in the given season)
add in two scrubs who don't play except in blowouts; mix well, and presto . . . champion
Couple of these teams are seriously overloaded with talent!

There is no way to make it equal.
Even that would have some guys with a GOAT candidate as their best player and some with a much less impressive best player, and you are denying those teams any potential depth advantage they may enjoy as compensation for having an inferior best player.
I was going to do this until I realized how raw a deal the Pistons were going to get.

Yeah. I thought about something similar, but a team like that, fair or not, would be automatically docked for lack of 3pt shooting/spacing.
It was either leave the best player ever to play for the franchise off or deal with a dubious perimeter defense and poor spacing (and no Hill in either case).
