We go with spark plug Elliot Perry

“Socks” was both entertaining and efficient in 1994-95, a season in which he established himself as a bona fide NBA point guard. Although his previous three seasons had been spent as a part-time and minor league player, he opened the campaign with the Phoenix Suns. With Kevin Johnson hobbled by injuries, Perry became the team's starting point guard ... He was one of the more surprising players of the season. A starter in 51 games, Perry averaged 9.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.90 steals. His steals average was 8th best in the league and his assists rate was 27th highest. Even more impressive, he shot .520 from the field, 18th in the league and 2nd among guards, trailing only the Utah Jazz's John Stockton ... Perry was named NBA Player of the Week for the period ending November 20 after snaring 6 steals in two straight games. For the season, he shot .417% from three-point distance. The Suns finished the regular season at 59-23 and atop the Pacific Division. Perry was the runner-up for the NBA's Most Improved Player award.

With our final selection, we're pleased to take the final remaining (eligible) HOF left.

During the peak of his career, he was a 19/10 player generally as a third option on one of the greatest teams of all time. Possesses a deadly jump-shot, runs like a gazelle in the fast-break and a good defender, with solid shot-blocking ability. A nine time NBA All-Star, a two time All-NBA, and twice finishing in the top 10 of MVP Voting (highest being 4th), and a multiple time NBA Champion. With career totals of over 23K points and 14K rebounds he's generally referred to as "The Chief." Yes, with our final selection, we're going with Robert Parish.

Fellow Hall of Famer and teammate from 1985-87 Bill Walton once called Parish the "greatest shooting big man of all time", perhaps because of Parish's field goal and free throw shooting ability, an unusual talent among most centers. His trademark was his high release jump shot, which traversed a very high arc before falling.

Seriously though, there's actually some talented players that I would have expected to be in certain rotations (and would love to pick), but unfortunately I don't have those minutes to go around, and from the final man on your roster, the only thing you ask is, a.) they don't complain about minutes, b.) they provide a good veteran experience, and c.) provide something on the table. Parish at the very least gives us a good locker room presence, six fouls, and a legitimate seven footer with championship experience, lol.

Mark West. We wanted another bruiser and solid rebounder/defender in our fc. West gives us both and loads of toughness plus he can play c and f.

Mark Jackson the PG was taken in the 9th; Marc Jackson the C isn't in the NBA yet.

Didn't post anything on the Jalen Rose pick, so here's my reasoning:

He was a bit of a revelation once he started getting major minutes and starting after the all-star break, going for 10.5/3.8/7.3 on 49% as the Nuggets finished the year 21-11.

We also like Rose's ability to play three positions for us. Barros and Abdul Rauf will occupy the small guard spot for most of the game while Gill/Augmon/Rose will occupy the big guard minutes and small forward backup minutes (and when Schrempf is at PF). Rose also ensures that we will have at least two or three quality playmakers/passers on the floor at all time.

We felt that this pick gave us the most flexibility with our rotations and was probably the best overall talent on the board.

I'm fine with a 9 man rotation, so I'll forfeit this pick.
