Next Trade Game

Post#1 » by why22 » Tue Oct 26, 2010 7:32 pm

alright so the last one was quite succesful and fun, and now i am asking(once again lol) when the next one will be. when it is i have some suggestions on how to make it even better

- players recently traded cannot be traded in combination with another for 3 weeks

- same goes for players signed

this makes the game more realistic

once a commish is chosen (or someone says they will run a game), that person will decide a timeline

I said im willing to commish one, but i would need a co commish like Rocdogg or Samebone or Bryant08.

Also, i would like to put a twist on the game since we all know we wont be able to have 30 active GM's.

All ideas are welcome.

this may sound crazy but lets implement hiring and firing coaches.

I've also thought about something like this too. Like a spurs team rebuilding would not want Greg Pop as there coach.

If there is a new game, I am down. Sign me up for the Grizzlies GM position.

Email our current commissioner, bness, his email is in the roster thread at the top of the page. I think Washington might be available.

I am going to take the Washington slot. But, for future reference, I would like to have the Grizzlies GM position for next game/year if people do not mind.

I'm guessing you're a Grizz fan. Personally, the games are usually more fun when you don't have your own team. Guys that do that usually overvalue everyone on the team, end up making practically no trades, and aren't really productive to the game.

I'm a fan because I root for the Grizzlies, but I am not a huge fan of everyone on the Grizzlies team. I could not stand OJ Mayo, Mike Conley and Thabeet when they played in college. (and still do not really care for them) I would be more than willing to engage in trade talks, particularly with teams that can offer value. I have nothing invested in this organization's players, nor am I from Memphis. So, I personally feel that my bias would be kept to a minimum. (especially considering I would be willing to trade everyone on the team with the exception of Gay)

For this round, however, I am going to be playing with the Washington Wizards.

Yo, shouldn't this thread be locked? We're in the middle of the game, correct?
