Sorry guys I didn’t get this done in time. Last week was the busiest week for me with signing day. I just wanted to do the write-up anyway and get your inputs because this was my first time. Again sorry I didn’t finish.

Analysis
Goals
My goals were to shed Baron Davis and build a quality young team around Blake Griffin. I wanted find players that I felt would complement each other nicely.
Starters
C – Joakim Noah - 25 – 14.0 points (51.4%), 11.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.63 blocks and 1.17 steals
PF – Blake Griffin - 21 – 22.9 points (51.7%), 12.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, .57 blocks and .67 steals
SF – Michael Beasley - 22 - 20 points (46.4%/38.5%), 5.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, .8 blocks and .72 steals
SG – Arron Afflalo - 25 – 13 points (51.2% /44.9%), 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, .53 blocks and .61 steals
PG – Rodney Stuckey - 21 – 15.3 points (42.7%/26.9%), 3.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, .12 blocks and 1.07 steals
The starters complement each other quite nicely. Blake and Joakim would be perfect front court mates. Joakim will be the big defensive presence Blake needs next to him. Those two have great rebounding numbers also. Then Beasley will fit in well as he can help spread the floor and is a competent 3-point shooter. Afflalo will do what he does best, play solid defense and knock down 3’s. Stuckey is a good starting point guard. He meshes well with the others as he is a drive and pass PG. It helps that both wings can knock down 3’s consistently and they should get lots of open looks with Blake and Joakim drawing a lot of attention.
Key Bench
Point Guards: Farmar and Chalmers both take care of the ball and can hit open 3’s consistently (both over 35%)
Wings: Smith and Morrow both can hit the 3 (35% and 43% respectively). While defensively JR can provide a lot.
Bigs: Collison and Petro. Collison is the veteran on the team at 30. He plays great defense and gets rebounds. He is the glue guy every team needs. Petro can give some play well enough to sub at the 5 on a limited basis. His minutes can be limited because of Collison’s ability to defend both the 4 and 5.
Better than before?
I feel that it is a huge improvement on the original Clippers team. We got extremely younger while improving also. I improved the starters at PG, SF and C. I think the only starter spot we may have gotten weaker was SG. Overall the bench has improved and the team is deeper. I feel this team is perfectly matched and will be able to grow together as all the players are under control for the foreseeable future.
