The Clippers accept this deal. I was not prepared to let Budinger start at SF, and Iggy is just a muc better option with his versatility. Odom rounds out my starting five, bringing an awesome rebounder and passer to the starting PF spot for my team.

ATL and HOU have a trade to announce.

Trade 146:

ATL gets:

Carlos Boozer - $13,500,000
Lou Williams - $5,351,500
Mouphtaou Yarou - $954,000
HOU 1st 2013

= $19,805,500

HOU gets:

Nene $12,000,000
Crawford $8,000,000

= $20,000,000

Why for ATL?

Boozer is the better fit next to Perk + Lou is younger than Crawford + from ATL + more valuable because of his contract + we get a pick as an asset for other deals.

IND sends:
Brandon Roy 5,400,000

PHX sends:
Darrell Arthur 3,006,217
Xavier Henry 2,323,200
Greivis Vasquez 1,191,240

Salarie works because IND is under the cap! We do this because we add a second star next to Horford. Phoenix' medical staff will keep him healthy and make an important go-to-guy at the perimeter.

The Pacers are happy to make this deal. The more we thought about it the more questions we had about Roy's long term ability to play at a high level with his knees. This deal gives us 3 quality young players we can develop and adds needed depth.

HOUSTON gladly accepts this deal. While Carlos Boozer is an outstanding PF, the chance to get Nene as our starting center and a quality SG in Crawford was too good to pass up. This allows the Rockets to move Terry back to the 6th man role at which he excels. He will provide instant offense at either the PG or SG positions to offset the loss of Lou Williams. Luis Scola and Kris Humphries can hold down our PF position with very little drop off from Boozer and Nene is an elite Center in the Association.

DEN and LAL have a trade to announce:

DEN outgoing:
Kevin Garnett $12,000,000
Steve Nash $6,000,000
total: $18,000,000

LAL outgoing:
Monta Ellis $11,000,000
Jason Thompson $4,000,000
$15,000,000

We do this to get younger at the PG position. Ellis isn't a conventional PG but he can play the position with no problems. He defends point guards quite well and his size and speed makes it impossible for them to guard him. He puts up great numbers, 24/3/6 on 36% from 3. Oh and he is only 25 years old, 26 in this game. Him and Gordon make a devastating backcourt that will wreck opposing PG/SG combo's. Thompson is a young big who can backup Griffin just fine. We gladly accept this deal.

Confirm. This makes the Lakers more well balanced Nash. Ellis is an excellent player, but the team already has two great scorers in Melo and Al Jefferson. Adding Nash and KG improves the team both offensively and defensively as far as fit goes. KG will be a good defensive anchor next to Al Jefferson.

Blockbuster...yet again:

MIA sends:
CP3($16,000,000)
Anthony Parker(2,000,000)
Grant Hill (2,000,000)

Total: 20,000,000

DEN sends:
Monta Ellis (11,000,000)
Eric Gordon (13,000,000)

total: 24,000,000

1.25*20,000,000+100,000=25,100,000>24,000,000 so money works! I hate giving up CP3 but lbj can ball handle more and monta/EG can just gun 3s all day. monta avgs 1.5 stls and EG is a STRONG defender...and he jams it like no other. good dealing DEN!

TRADES!! I'm gonna need a break after this game. Paul is a superstar. Griffin is a superstar. Both are young and dominant, I have my small/big combo for the rest of the game.
