1. SEATTLE SONICS (home court advantage)

ROTATION

Coach: Tom Thibodeau

Irving(30)/Chalmers(18)/T-Mac
Thabo(18)/Harden(30)/Green
LeBron(36)/Novak(12)/Jeffries
LMA(30)/Faried(18)/Thompkins
Dwight(34)/Camby(14)/Seraphin

vs

PG: Derrick Rose (40), Lou Williams (8)
SG: Wesley Matthews (30), Lou Williams (18)
SF: Gerald Wallace (34), Chandler Parsons (14)
PF: Kris Humphries (18), Luis Scola (30)
C: Andrew Bogut (34), Kris Humphries (14)

GAMEPLAN

A much simpler game plan compared to our last couple of match ups... SLOW DOWN Rose.

We will smother him with our exceptional team D and when needed put Bron on him for extra harassment. Crash has just not been up to snuff this year nor has Bogut so we can play a bit more help D when needed. Zone may come into play at times as a result of their lack of shooters from top to bottom.

Pack the paint and crush their spirit!

I expect an offensive onslaught as a result of the suffocating D we plan to abuse them with. Their bench is not bad but the depth at C is lacking and this will prove unfortunate for Brooklyn as we wear them down.

I really do not expect this series to last more than 5 games accounting for a let down in intensity for 1 game perhaps. With Thibs barking orders that may not be the case though.

The goal is in our grasp and we intend to snatch the trophy and keep it for years to come.

good luck Brooklyn

Seattle in 6.

I see Brooklyn taking game 2 and 3 but Seattle finishing them off 4-2.
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

With Bogut healthy, He'll be able to give Howard a run for his money. He won't give up anything easy. Wallace will also play stellar defense on LeBron. Derrick Rose will go off this series but will honestly have to score +30 every game. With all that being said, LeBron will still find a way to get it done. LMA is too much for Humphries and Thabo/Harden combo is too much firepower for WM & Lou Williams. Howard will be able to use his athleticism to get looks at the rim and lock down the paint.

Game 1: Sonics
Game 2: Sonics
Game 3: Sonics
Game 4: Nets
Game 5: Sonics

Sonics in 5.

I do think Wallace can challenge LeBron in a way few can - and Irving will definately rise to the challenge against Rose. Bogut can keep Dwight busy....

But Harden and Aldridge win this for Seattle - they simply outmatch their counterparts.

Seattle in 6. I think the West is just so stacked, the actual Finals happened last round, and I think that was a harder win than this is (although no offense Brooklyn, you got a great team).

Sonic Sweep. Wallace shows up in Brooklyn, but disappears on the road. Lebron and Harden overwhelm everything the Nets throw at them. Seattle sets the Space Needle on fire!

The forward spots win it for SEA in 5. Wallace is the ideal defender to throw on LBJ, but this season Wallace hasn't been up to par on either end and LBJ has been better than he has ever been. LMA will feast on Hump/Scola and Harden is a much better 6th man than Lou in a significant area. Playmaking. Lou isn't one to run a smooth offense and the Nets will struggle when Rose is sitting, or being pressured. Playmaking is an issue in a series of this magnitude.

So ya, SEA in 5.
