Detroit in / New Orleans out:
Al Farouq Aminu - $3,749,462
Jason Smith - $2,500,000
Total - $6,249,462

New Orleans in / Detroit out:
Rodney Stuckey - $8,500,000

($6.2M * 1.5 = $9.3M > $8.5M; deal works)

Hornets accept. Stuckey may not be a pure PG, but he's a hell of a lot better than anybody else I've got there.

New Orleans out / Memphis in: #6 pick

Memphis out / New Orleans in : Marc Gasol ($13,891,359)

New Orleans has cap space to absorb the salary. Memphis also receives a giant TPE.

We have a giant TPE now, because we accepted.

#122

Part 1

New Orleans in / Portland out:
Kawhi Leonard - $1,887,840
Terrence Ross - $1,633,440
Patty Mills - $2,612,500
Total - $4,434,780

Portland in / New Orleans out:
Harrison Barnes - $2,669,100
Mo Williams - $2,500,000
Total - $5,119,100

Part 2

Portland in / New Orleans out - Xavier Henry - $3,201,370

New Orleans in / Portland out - TPE equal to Henry's salary

Portland has cap space to take on the contract

New Orleans accepts. I like the fit of Gordon and Leonard on the wing, and think Ross will be at least a very strong defender.

Portland accepts, Barnes has the chance to be something special, and Mo and Xavier will be very nice SG options to my team; one is a very good cheap Vet the other is a very nice young prospect. Good dealing

123 Memphis and Portland

Kemba $2,568,360 + 2m cash
for
Terrance Jones 1,719,480

Both teams are ~15-25m under the cap so we're good on salaries.

Memphis does it because we are going to run with a 3 guard rotation of Mccullun/Wroten and Mayo, and we had zero sf's. It might not be the best value, but we felt it was a move that really balanced our roster, and was worth blowing the extra cash on even. Also Kemba is short.

Portland had an abundance of SFs and the only PG we had was Kendall Marshall, we get the 9th pick in the 2011 Draft, a player who led Uconn to a championship run, in exchange for the 18th pick in the 2012 Draft. We think Kemba still has a very high ceiling and the cash is also nice. Oh and one more thing:
