This is pretty basic, just follow the guidelines below. IF a team does not have a write up done yet you can edit your post later once they have finished their write up.
11:59pm EST tomorrow night will be the deadline for this and then I will announce the winner.
CATEGORIES
1. Talent improvement from original roster to final roster (1-10)
2. Coaching (1-5)
3. Money management (were the financial risks worth the reward)(1-5)
4. Future profitability (will the team earn a lot or lose a lot)(1-5)
5. How bright is the team's future in terms of talent and possible title chances(1-10)
6. Drafting/future picks (1-5 on each then total them up)
7. Team Offense/Defense (1-5 on each then total them up)
8. Durability/Chemistry (1-5 on each then total them up)
9. Playoff runs from 2011/12 - 2013/14 (1-10)

-Great overall job. I think you got lucky for part of it (the picks) but made other very good trades that put you not only as the best team now, but one of the best for the future.

-Minimal moves that set up your team a bit better for the future. Would've liked to see maybe a better Ast. Coach or two, or a guy like Monty Williams or Scott Brooks to lead the young team, but not much to complain about.
Milwaukee
1. Talent improvement from original roster to final roster (1-10) 8
2. Coaching (1-5) 4
3. Money management (were the financial risks worth the reward)(1-5) 3

9. Playoff runs from 2011/12 - 2013/14 (1-10) 7

-Getting Durant was the key here. Him and Lawson make a great future duo. Unfortunately you weren't a true contender until this year (missing out on points from 2012 and 2013 deep playoff runs), and a better D anchor would've been nice, but overall, great job.
San Francisco
1. Talent improvement from original roster to final roster (1-10) 6
2. Coaching (1-5) 3
3. Money management (were the financial risks worth the reward)(1-5) 4

9. Playoff runs from 2011/12 - 2013/14 (1-10) 2

-I like the young core, did a solid job drafting, and adding in Milsap/KG/Jrue was nice as well. I see a good future here.
Phoenix
1. Talent improvement from original roster to final roster (1-10) 8
2. Coaching (1-5) 2
3. Money management (were the financial risks worth the reward)(1-5) 3

9. Playoff runs from 2011/12 - 2013/14 (1-10) 5
42/75
-Talent on this team for sure, but seems like everyone does better with the ball in their hands. Also doesn't have the young guy to build around, but decent job managing money.
San Antonio

-Great job keeping core in tact and keeping Pop. Made deep playoff runs, had great chemistry. Doesn't look good in 3-5 years, but you were in win-now mode.

9. Playoff runs from 2011/12 - 2013/14 (1-10) 6

-Lost Bynum and didn't get any young talent like him. Also lost 450M over the course of the game and have no Finals or CF appearance to justify it. I also didn't like the waiving Kobe move, even if he is overpaid.

-Solid, but not great job. Build the team for the future, and if you get a few guys to develop that will be solid. I like McHale as the coach, but not having a team that competed at all over the 3 years hurt you a bit.

This ranking system is a bit on the tedious side, so I think there should be a bit more time allowed before the winner is announced. (my rankings are nearly done)

Way to go acquiring D. Rose! That alone makes you deserving of praise for the job you did (even though BI traded you him instead of Westbrook because of an oath he swore to me
). Being able to go get Bynum was nice as well, although those knees and that attitude concern me, although you can't argue with his production when he brings it. It's a very nice duo.

Just a phenomenal job. To take the team that is on pace to win the current NBA Title in the Thunder and improve that talent level considerably is impressive. Westbrook/Durant/Ibaka were nice trade chips obviously, and you maximized the value you got to an absurd level. This team is utterly unbeatable.

Adding Cousins (contraction) and Kidd-Gilchrist were great, but I find the Monroe for Drummond based deal very questionable. Monroe is one of the rising stars in the NBA at that position and Drummond had a very underwhelming freshman campaign at UConn. There is certainly potential there though, so time will tell.

You did a good job even before you were able to sign Kobe. Suns had arguable the worst looking roster in the league, except for Nash of course, and you put together a team that is in the hunt in the West. You had an unorthodox plan/approach to start, and you maneuvered yourself impressively.

Keeping the best coach in the league, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan was a good call, but the best move you made was bringing in Chris Bosh. Manu only had a couple years left tops and Josh Smith is too mentally weak to make much of a difference in the playoffs. Parker and Bosh are still in their primes and a young guy in Henderson with them is a nice little core for the future as well as now.

I hear that, hence why I did not bother with teams that just claimed a spot in write up section then left it blank... aka ORL, BOS, PDX.
IF they(or any other teams that have not claimed a spot yet FTM) get an actual write up done THEN I will rate them.

Re: Own a Team - End Game Ratings
Really disappointed, you guys. For the amount of work r0c put in and for how active most of you were throughout the game, this is a damn shame. Write-ups and ratings/rankings are JUST AS IMPORTANT as building your teams. It gives closure, recaps and rewards the job everyone did and declares a winner going into the next game.
I know a lot of you are busy but IT TAKES 10 MINUTES. I am busy too. I work two jobs and am currently taking summer classes and I managed to post a write-up and rate the other players. C'mon.

Very rock solid team. I feel you did a great job getting youth, high draft picks, and adding serious depth. I think this team could be mediocre if one of your young guys doesn't show any signs of stardom. Going from Martin, Scola, Lowry, Dragic to what you have now, you did a hellova job.

Want to thank Roc for working hard on this game. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be more involved in the end.
I really enjoyed playing this game and hope to play this in the future (as long as Roc is running it). Great job to everyone and hope we have another fun one like this soon.

Lots of money tied in with players getting older. You definitely have a strong, strong team in the West. I give you props because you had a gutted roster with Steve Nash and turned it into a contender again. Great job.

Keeping the coaching staff, Parker, and Duncan were great moves. I thought moving Smith for Bosh was an excellent move. Had the Sonics not been in the way, your team could've won a championship or two IMO.

Waiving Bryant wasn't a good move. I thought you should've tried to bring in another star. Losing Bynum for nothing really hurt you as well. You have some solid pieces for the future but don't see a serious playoff run happening anytime soon.

Out of curiosity, Luke, how does hiring Mike D'Antoni and Bruce Pearl to replace Scott Skiles net me 1 point for coaching? Thanks for posting ratings though, guys!

Tons and tons of cap room to resign them, but if they leave the core is Dragic/Evans/?/West/Noah -- not really a team of the future or over the hump. Granger helps. If it was Kobe a year or two ago instead of a year or two from now, it would be a title contender but age has to be a factor. Let me just say that I love the Kobe bid.

r0c was the real winner here, but I'll take it!
Thanks for commishing, man. This was a very enjoyable game, I hope the next one can be just as fun. Thanks to all the did write-ups/ratings and great job to the other players who really turned their franchises around.
