12/14/5 and 2.3 blocks and 1.3 steals and an allstar in the given year. 6-10 a legit C, that can start or come off the bench and play those backup PF/C minutes.

That choice I like Blackie, good fit in Denver.

Hmm. I realize we're already halfway done, but in the future if you aren't going to be around PLEASE leave a list of players you'd like selected for you. You can private message me with your choices and I won't look until after I've already made my own pick that round (assuming I pick before you, otherwise its not a problem anyway).

fork? folk?

Another pick I like; good for chemistry and defense. Most of these teams aren't short on offense.

I've actually got a question:

Why is Price usable for the Bucks? He played only 41 games for them. 50 total that year, but 9 were with the Lakers.

I think it's total games . . . I had thought I said 60 but apparently I did say 50. Don't sweat it, he's Kirk Hinrich without a 3 point shot.

Jerry Sloan.

Time to go straight for a need.

Maurice Lucas. Terrific enforcer, averaged a double double in spite of playing next to Bad News Barns. Gives me the rebounding and defensive grit to place next to my high powered offensive threats in the starting lineup.

Posted an impressive 16/15/5 in the playoffs (through two rounds) in the selected season and was Bill Walton's sidekick on the Blazers' path to an NBA championship only 2 years after the selected season.

With this pick, we were looking at a legitimate starter on the wings that could defend and score at an efficient clip. We feel Mike Riordan perfectly fits the bill, his tenacity defensively earned him defensive team honors a few years earlier in his career (in fact, during THIS regular season, he was labeled the "Barry stopper," holding him to under 13 points twice during the 74-75 season - granted Barry would average nearly 30 PPG in the finals, it was in fact below his average and on 44% from the field opposed to nearly 46-47% in the regular season). He would also hold Barry to a lesser assist total in the finals as well. At this stage of his career, he was a reliable offensive player that could be counted on for 15+ points on efficient shooting from the field. He'll fit nicely with his role next to Barry and Hayes, and add to the defensive prowess of the backcourt with Van Lier.

With our pick, KENTUCKY was looking elsewhere but can't afford to pass up a consistent NBA All-Defense player who scores 20+ ppg. Mr. Outside to Chet Walker's Mr. Inside in Chicago's two SF offense, Kentucky selects another quality team guy, Bob "Butterbean" Love. Which of our two All-Defense combo forwards starts and which comes off the bench I am not sure; but either way, we continue to focus on defense and quality people.

Well, I wanted Caldwell, but instead I'm going to go with a position of need for us at guard and pick Gail Goodrich, a lefty who has experience distributing the ball and winning championships.

We're going Swen Nater here.

He allows us to start Cowens at PF if we wish and provides excellent efficiency and complimentary volume at C. Good man defender whose mediocre help defense won't be a liability on this team and he's a dominant rebounder in any era.

Pen, what are your thoughts on a fifth round? I feel like, looking at the board, we should all be able to get some sort of contributor (even if just a specialist)

I'd like to have a 5th round if just to have a sentimental pick.

Jamaal Wilkes

May not be here for my next pick in which case someone give me BPA. I'll try to be on tonight though.
