if it is 1st come 1st serve for vet min signings, Dallas will take a shot at signing Vince Carter for the vet min. We gladly will give him a chance to compete for SG/SF minutes either as a starter or off the bench.

I love the energy and versatility he brings.

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but he's my restricted free agent.

Anyway...

Portland picks up Chauncey Billups option.

Resigns Battier to a 4 year deal at $7 million a year flat.

And has resigned Josh Powell to a 3 year deal at a total of $7 million.
I guess that would go:
$2,000,000
$2,500,000
$2,500,000

Somebody correct me if I'm not allowed to assign contracts in that form.

If you want to keep him, say that you match.

Alright thanks.

BTW, I hate to keep dwelling on this, but that was some amazing bull :censored: with Kris Humphries and I feel it really kills any integrity free agency has in these games.

I understand you do a lot of work to make these things run properly and I appreciate it, but I was caught up with work and such, still made my offer about 40 minutes before the deadline, you replied and told me the Hump was "committed" even though the deadline was far from over, then replied again and said you would work things out and then never got back to me and let him get signed for $11 million less with probably a lesser role on a worse team.

I mean there is no logic at all as to why he isn't my starting power forward right now.

The only reason I'm not quitting right now is because I don't want to be a complete dick to everyone else.

This isn't "I'm taking my ball and going home" crap either, this is, you bending the rules, ignoring deadlines and the parameters of free agency cause you didn't want to look like a jerk to NJ's GM because for some reason you assumed Kris Humphries wouldn't be sought after, even though other bigs that deserved like 5 years for 50 were getting flat max a day prior and promised Hump to him...

The 12:00 deadline was for people to get signed, not for offers. I started signing people at 11:30 and was only checking my e-mail at that point. My signing process was 100% e-mail. Then I see that you sent me a PM after I said to e-mail me FA offers. I organized everybody as well as I could that sent me an e-mail. I had to dig through my spam folder for lost offers and got everybody signed. Then I log on and find a PM, which is NOT how I asked for offers, so the fact that I even gave you a couple of FA's in the first place is me bending the rules and overlooking your inability to follow directions. Every other GM in this game sent me e-mail offers.

Kurt Thomas, and if J.J. Barea if he hasn't been singed yet, then I'd like to sign these two.

EDIT - Roster is at 13 actually, so I'll sign these two.

If its first come first serve for the remaining FA's...then Philly signs Chris Wilcox and Roger Mason Jr. each to 1 year deals at the min.

I would like to sign VC to the minimum if he's available
. We would love his presence in our team and feel he can still contribute a lot

In related news, the OKC Thunder have revealed that Tracy McGrady will don a Thunder jersey for this upcoming season.. The 3-y deal deal starts at $3,100,000 with max increases and PO's for the 2nd and final year.
