In the future, you must run all buyouts through me so that I can make sure they are all legal.
One thing we have decided about partially guaranteed guys, is that you have to buy out his full salary, or just waive him and take the cap hit, you can use cash to pay off someone that isn't playing for (or won't be playing for) your team.
