In a sense yeah, I'd agree, but it's also an all time, so the talent load is pretty ridiculous, the difference from the 7th pick isn't all that too different from one picking way at the end. But it's cool, I'll admit it's a different way of drafting, and a new twist in any competition is always fun.

And thanks Finger Roll for replying.

Omg i feel robbed for some reason. It alright. I can still form an elite team. Btw, we can pick any player we like from any season right? and whats up with the 3 season rule. Can some one clarify that please?

Basically, when we judge the teams, we are not looking at each player's career. We are only looking at any 3 CONSECUTIVE NBA SEASONS (includes both regular season and playoffs) of that player, as determined by the participant. So, when you pick a player, you want to keep in mind which 3 consecutive NBA seasons of that player you would choose. You must specify these seasons sometime during or after the draft (before the judging process begins).

Do people really have a big problem with the drafting order?

We can still switch to a conventional snake mode if that is what people want (at the OP's discretion, of course).

The more I think about it, it does really help the people later in the draft.

Plus it'll be so long before I get to make another pick. :(

^I can see the argument both ways.

I was always in favor of doing it the regular way, though.

People like Calderon who feel they are getting screwed should have a chance to plead their case, though. This wasn't exactly a committee decision.

Hey guys I have no pick in the 2nd round same with some others. I suggest we do a standard snake, anyone else for it? It would not change anything as the 1st round stays the same.

My general rule is that I dont argue with the commish. Im ok with your draft but your making things harder then they have to be. K.I.S.S. is your friend. Its going to require a Commish to work extra hard to send out emails when people are up. If a mod can also send ot PMs to people on the clock that would be great.

Pistons1 if you want Daly Ill let you have him and take Red Auerbach.

You can find my AIM in my profile and if your going to be out and you are picking in the next 4 or 5 send me a list of your prefered palyers and Ill take care of you. You can even send me something like

best rebounding bigman left
Best 3pt shooter

and Ill find your man that fits your team.

^No worries, the coach doesn't matter.

I'm fine with Riley.

I PMed Booz last night before going to bed. He has not seen it yet.

Is there a need for coaches?

If so,

1. Phil Jackson
2. Stav Van Gundy
3. George Karl

are my choices by number..thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Baylor never really played guard.

Our pick currently on the clock is available for trade. If nothing I like, I'll pick within the hour (9:00 PST).

Tmac, the more I think about it, the more the target we mentioned last night might not last a few more picks (could last another round too). I'd think about just taking him.
