He was very active untill he had problems with his computer that's why i think he deserves a chance to play, we had a lot of half ass inactive GMs during last game and he wasn't one of them :P

If his team was good or bad i couldn't care less as long as he is active and fair that's good enough for me.

I couldn't care less either I was just replying/giving my opinion to what he wrote.

I am pretty sure he will get his Miami team and I am pretty sure he will give a serious effort but as I already mentioned. I am leaving it up to the GMs to vote on this even though I am pretty sure how that will turn out.

I just dont understand, why is my drop out on the other game LINKED at this GM Game? I DONT CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THAT.

It was my 1st time doing that, and if you ever know HoopsHype and its forum, I'm the dude who runs the GM Game there, I know this game by heart.

I just don't understand why my Build DYnasty dropout/incident is connected with my performance here, I'm proven at GM Games, and if it wasnt for my PC screwing up, I could have finished last time, I had a solid team back then with Arenas, Ray Allen, Tayshaun, West and Dalembert, that shows my commitment.

So anyways, we'll see what happens, no hard feelings from me, I just want in badly, and I won't screw up. I know this by heart.

Its not just that you dropped out. Its that you completely blew it off and didn't even have the courtesy to respond when we were looking for you. You could have at least let us know you weren't interested anymore then.

In any event, I can see the general opinion is to let him in. If thats the case I'm okay with it. It was never anything personal or a big deal. If others are confident then I guess I am as well.

IIRC, Prince was in a package from Miami, in which West was swapped with Rashard Lewis. So that team is false, it was, Arenas - Allen - Prince - Shard - Dalembert, with guys like Walton, Vujacic, Udrih, Radman, Diop and Banks off the bench. Just clarifying :)

Honestly, this game, where it's essentially checking your emails couple of times each day, I think it'd be OK, despite not the greatest history, he really wants to play too.

I am holding Miami for Booz and if the voting ends the way I think it will he will be able to post his roster come 4pm EST.

and you are right TMACFORMVP about that lineup with Shard's mega contract not West's sweet declining deal but anyway...

I agree with you :P and agree about his team as well, he had a lot of bad contracts i just think it's worthless discuss his team, but since he is the one who started it it's his own fault

And go disturb Cow or PoP or HK or Mr Know it all, and tell one of them to play Detroit, the team is still unclaimed and we could use active and smart/nice posters playing this game

And i think a thread on Trades and Transactions boards could help to fill the remaining spots asap i don't know.

I was so dissatisfied with our offseason vege that I have barely even checked the Detroit board so I have no clue who you mean by "Mr. Know it All".

and

I was/am planning on posting on the trade board tomorrow with a link to the game and having one of the mods sticky it until the empty spots are filled.

I posted a link to this thread on the trade board so if a mod could sticky and lock that thread it would be much appreciated.

Thanks - RocDogg

Just letting you know, 4PM ET is 4AM in my place and I'm definitely still asleep and I wake up 5 for school.

I'll sneak in anytime from 5 PM ET til 5 AM ET if I ever get approved for the job, that doesn't mean that I'm inactive, cause my school's schedule for tommorow is from 7PM ET til 3:30AM ET, And I will definitely arrive during 4:50 AM ET like what I did earlier, but will try and post my roster much more earlier than that, cant make a promise but for sure, I will be here.

It's just been a tough week for me, so excuse that, I recently had my exams too so yeah dont worry if I don't come in just past the 4PM deadline, cause i live from another time zone, and I just wanted to say that while it's early so that you guys won't search for me tommorow. I will indeed be here. Just a bad scheduled day.

Once again, thanks. Cheers

Commish,

Can you post your email/aim to the roster page so that we have it for reference? I don't feel like looking at the old GM a Team game roster thread, plus it'll be easier in the long run.

Yeah, my PC usually gets heat up 14 every single weekend, I leave it on even though not in use.

11 goes for internet/computer privileges.

1 goes for eating habits (combined of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, I'm a fast eater)

2 goes for ball and misc.

All goodz Booz and I probably won't be back on til around 4pm as i still haven't gone to bed. Damn migraine!

I also have decided to allow extensions but with a wrinkle that CellarDoor helped out with.

Any extended player will count as BYC every time he is traded. The salary will count as full for the receiving team and 1/2 for the sending team. Player is not allowed to be traded for 1 week after signing extension. Any/every time that player is traded the same rules will apply.

The same rules will also apply to any 2010 FA signings.

IMPORTANT INFO

Any unsigned restricted FA will be property of the team that holds his rights. Lee/Nate to NY, Sessions to MIL, etc. So teams with those players send me an offer sheet and we will hammer out a deal. Any unsigned unrestricted FA will be free game. Feel free to start sending in offers once you have all the prerequisite roster info posted. I will post this in the discussion thread as well.

also

When I get back on later today I will try and add links to all pertinent info regarding cap holds for empty roster spots below 12, cap holds for RFAs, when exceptions can be used, etc. This is mainly for the new players so they will not be left in the dark and unready for free agency if they plan on having cap space.

Last go round many teams that thought they had a certain amount of cap room got a rude awakening and it was too late for them to do anything but suck it up. This time I am hoping everyone will be prepared and forewarned.

See ya in around 8 hours gonna try my luck at sleep.

BYC makes no sense for players that shouldn't be. Just have normal extensions, make them difficult to get, and have that player not allowed to be traded for 1 week.
