The Oklahoma City Thunder and New Jersey Nets have agreed to a deal:

Harris
Dooling

for

Westbrook
Mullens
PHX 1st

NJ outgoing/OKC incoming: $8,400,000 + $3,564,000 = $11,964,000
NJ incoming/OKC incoming: $3,755,640 + $1,120,200 = $4,875,840
Difference: $7,088,160
Salary Cap: 58.0- 50.862604 = 7.137396> 7.088160

New Jersey Accepts: Although we will miss Harris, we will enjoy adding Westbrook along with the potential of Mullens. Both who we think will fit nicely with our young team. We also shave a couple mil off of our 2010 cap.

Oklahoma accepts. Was quite high on Westbrook, but feel that Harris will be a much better PG fit with Harden and Durant. We lose a couple of assets, but Harris' talent level is worth it.

Deal works due to OKC being under the cap

We hate to lose two 1st round picks, but the thought of acquiring a talent such as Green was too good to pass up. Green should be a great fit next to Gay and Rose.

Philadelphia will send:

2011 Philly's 2nd Round Pick

Dallas does it to get rid of Garcia's contract since he wasn't going to get much playing time anyways. Kapono will bring shooting needed to open the floor.

EDIT: Ok So we have to wait at least another fefw day before it's actually allowed. Hunter was part of the deal i just forgot to add him. Then was going to fix it but my mouse went haywire. So i went to buy one and now im here.

Trade on hold til Garcia's 48 hours has passed.

HEAT Officially Inks Allen Iverson

Image

MIAMI - Allen Iverson finally has a home to call his, in Miami. Comish r0cd0gg has been reportedly speaking with Miami's GM, Booz, in an attempt to get the two sides into a deal, and that has happened. Sources close to the situation said that the deal is reportedly for one year, $5.8 Million. Miami, who recently was featured in a blockbuster deal with the Hornets, still has the MLE and used it to get Iverson. Iverson will start alongside Wade, Posey, West and O'Neal. "We are pleased to announce the signing of A.I" Heat GM Booz said, "We feel that he's one of the pieces left for us to contend and he would help us on and off the court."

I'm pleased in adding A.I. Cheers to r0cd0gg for the negotiations.

Confirmed...

AI decided to take the MLE from MIami and should get ample playing time. There were a couple other teams that I felt were better situated to win now but could only offer the vet minimum. In the end AI seemed disrespected even at MLE money. Hopefully by 2010 he will figure out his place and realize that he has only so much time left to reach the pinnacle.

We shall see.

There has been a veto request against this trade. I will sleep on it and give my answer once I wake up and am situated.

Miami and Charlotte have agreed to a trade.

Miami trades/Charlotte receives:
Morris Peterson $5,992,240
James Jones $4,330,000
Daequan Cook $1,362,120
Chris Quinn $1,050,387
Joel Anthony $825,497
2012 Miami 1st
13.4 x 1.25 = 16.75

Charlotte Trades/Miami receives:
Gerald Wallace $9,500,000
DeSagana Diop $6,031,800

Bobcats accept because we get younger, dump Diop's contract, and get 2010 cap space (about 7 million). We will also have 18 million off the books in 2011.

EDIT: 2012 1st added, Diawara replaced with Joel Anthony.

Can we get the Portland/Minnesota trade approved? This whole roster page rule change is screwing up my game because I'm stuck in a bind. This is why I don't like the rule.

Orlando and Dallas have agreed to a deal

Orlando will send
Richard Jefferson ($14,200,000) and Orl 2010 2nd
to Dallas for
Brad Miller ($12,250,000), DeJuan Blair ($850,000), and the rites to Nick Calathis

Orlando accepts, we like what Miller brings to the table and think he can play along side Dwight as well as backing him up). Millers jumper and ability to bang could make an interesting pair of Twin Towers. Blair has potential

this trade creates a $1.1 mil TPE for Orlando

EDIT: we are not sure if the 48 hour no trade window has passed on Miller or Blair, so this trade may be delayed a few hours (or days) but Orlando accepts
2012 GMAT Christmas Edition : OKC Thunder

PG: DWill / Bayless
SG: DWade / VC / Grant Hill
SF: KD / MWP
PF: Ibaka / Landry
C : DMC / Dalembert / Kelly Olynyk

In the 8-player trade, the Blazers will acquire the hometown kid Kevin Love, along with rookie Jonny Flynn, veteran small forward Ryan Gomes, and reserve big man Ryan Hollins. In return, the Blazers will send to the Timberwolves former number one overall pick Greg Oden, along with small forward Travis Outlaw, and young guards Rudy Fernandez and Jerryd Bayless.

Portland is very high on both Jonny Flynn and Kevin Love. GM klomp44 said in his Tuesday afternoon press conference that he feels both players will fit well with the direction he wants to go in Portland. In addition, Gomes is an upgrade over Outlaw, and he feels that Hollins has loads of untapped potential.

Trade approved - PLease update your rosters

I made an exception because Minny is screwing over Portland by not taking care of business. This will be the last time an exception is made.

and for all GMS

ANY FURTHER TRADING WITH ANY TEAM THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN UP TO DATE ROSTER WILL BE AT YOUR OWN PERIL.

My suggestion, make sure you check that GMs roster and have them update if it isn't before posting a trade.

The Knicks Ink David Lee to Four-Year 34 Million Dollar Deal

The waiting and wondering is finally over for restricted free agent David Lee, who agreed Saturday to sign a four-year, $34 million dollar with the New York Knicks.

In New York, Lee will compete for minutes with rookie Jordan Hill of Arizona, the ninth pick of the draft who was has impressed in practice. But the majority of minutes Lee will see at the center position, in which he started 69 games last season averaging a double double, ranking third in the league in rebounding, and seventh in the league in FG%.

Reportedly the Knicks had an option to sign him to the QO for one year, but GM TMACFORMVP felt he would get a much larger contract in the 2010 FA, and it was better for the Knicks, and David Lee's value if he was locked up before it happened. "We're very happy to have Lee, who's one of the most underrated players in the league, we're estatic we found a deal we both could agree on."

There was a veto request and it was very close to not being allowed but Sactown does get 2 cheap contract youngsters and dumps Udrih's deal for Bank's lesser deal. Evans was iffy has he is not that valuable in comparison to contract but he is a hustler and based on the last game is not that hard a piece to move.

The future will tell whether or not this trade is fair but that is the nature of the beast.

It's been almost 48 hours since the Bulls-Mavs trade was posted, so...

The Bulls and Hornets have come to agreement on a deal:

CHI trades/NOH receives:

Kirk Hinrich $9,500,000
Roger Mason $3,780,000
Taj Gibson $1,039,800
Quinton Ross $1,033,342
SAC 2010 1st round pick
CHI 2010 1st round pick (with right to swap picks with MEM)

Total: $15,353,142

NOH trades/CHI receives:

Quentin Richardson $8,700,000
Michael Beasley $4,638,600
NOH 2011 1st round pick

Total: $13,338,600

13,338,600 X 1.25 + 100,000 = 16,773,250
16,773,250 > 15,353,142

Bulls accept. It was hard to give up two first round picks, but we feel it was worth to get it Beasley and open up even more cap room for the summer of 2010.

Rule is 48 hours after the trade has been approved.

Newly acquired player has to be on new roster for 48 hours...

unless listed in original trade as immediately going to a 3rd team.

Well I can still post it and then just wait a few days for it to be approved, right? No harm there I assume.
