I know it looks like you've got something cooking in the other thread, but do any of the small assets below move the needle enough for you to consider sending #52 to Motown? Thanks!

We're clearly not trying to "shoot the moon" here, mostly just looking for a team that has multiple 2nds this year who would consider kicking the can down the road and acquire an extra 2nd next year instead. Also willing to consider taking salary back if the fit is right and Boban's going out. Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing any ideas!

Sorry, none of those pieces interest me as much as Pondexter who is a useful bench player at a cheap cost.
I like Boban, but with Gortat and Mahinmi taking up almost $30M, can't afford him. I was interested in Smith and Morris but you got better deals than I could offer for both so not much left on your roster that I'd want. Sorry man.

Hey Sports,

Just curious, 'cuz at the moment I have no more picks — how are we handling undrafted free agents? Can we start making offers right after the draft? Will there be a separate thread for those?

Thanks, and thanks again for all your hard work!

Sportscrazy mentioned before that we should disregard what happens in reality before. Not sure if I can find it quickly but that pick should stay the way it is.

Yep, I'm sure a few things will be coming up. Players returning to school that we have being drafted, players not retiring that we have being retired, players opting in that we have opting out and vice versa. We're just going to ignore it all and leave what happens in this game as the reality for this game so we're not constantly adjusting to keep up with an already difficult task.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Do you have enough cap space to take on Kent Bazemore (not sure you want him back anyway). I'd do some sort of Shumper for Bazemore trade where you'd get a second rounder.

No thx. Not looking to take on extra money.

This would be an illegal trade anyway. ATL would not be able to reacquire Bazemore until a year after being traded.

Hey sports, I remember you mentioned about no one reppin the Clippers in this process. Draft wise, I'm done with the draft. Maybe I can squeeze in some time to rep the Clips unless you have found someone else to rep for them?

Hey again, Sports.

Has the "Stage 1" thread hit it's maximum capacity (it's 99 pages)? If so, do I win something for being the person who made the final post within it? :D

But seriously, you may wanna start a "Stage 1 (Continued)" thread.

Thanks again!

Personally, i would just lock up that thread and just use this one for all negotiations until the draft is over. At that time you can simply start up a free agency thread to help avoid any confusion.

Hey Spears,

Just taking your temperature on something, and to be honest this idea actually made me throw up a little bit in my mouth when I thought of it! :D

I saw you post that you'd deal Stauskus for a future 2nd. And I also saw that you've got no back up to Adams. And I've been looking to trade back into the 2nd round. Put them all together and you get the following utterly despicable idea —

Boban Marjanovic & a future 2nd (either 2018 or 2019) for Nik Stauskus, Kyle Singler and #48

I don't wanna commit to this yet, but I thought I'd throw it out there and get your thoughts (especially as the game has hit a lull again and I'm bored). I know this is the worst sales pitch ever, but if you hate this idea as much as I do then it probably means it's got legs! :D

Yes, still looking to trade him. Ideally, I would like to package him with another young guy in exchange for a player ready to impact right now - a wing or a PF.
Looking at your current roster, I don't see much that could fit my needs, realistically. Maybe Stanley Johnson?
Otherwise, we can keep your interest in mind and include him in a 3 way deal down the road

I'm honestly kinda glad to hear that!

Spearsy — we could still talk about Stauskus, but it'll probably be tough 'cuz I don't have the cap space to absorb him for just a 2nd. Feel free to let me know if you have any thoughts.
