Looks like I'm gonna have to set a hard deadline for votes.

Nobody seems interested in going first.

How do people feel about Sunday 8 EST?

What happened to the "hard deadline"? Or is it now next Sunday, the 16th? :P

The trouble with a hard deadline is: What happens if too few people follow it?

I had some issues this weekend and couldn't get my votes together as well as I'd like (I'll be finished momentarily). I'll start badgering people once I'm officially done and have the moral authority to do so.

No worries; I'm not in a huge hurry and enjoy reading the posts.

Any kind of timeline on when the last writeup should be in and voting start?

Nice writeups in the Poopsnake series (I like that name for it . . . we'd be the Penbone which is also fine since the Penny I took the name from was my Keeshound). I read Snake's and thought . . . ok, this is an easy decision; then read Poop's and thought, damn . . . no it isn't. Which is exactly what good writeups should produce.

Hopefully we will get rebuttals with numbers for lineup rebounding and ast/to by Poop and an answer to the choking dog argument by Snake.

I've got a Keeshond too...really quirky dogs.

This was definitely a fun matchup for me to produce a writeup for, and hopefully my opponent feels the same. I clarified a few points in my rebuttal. Hopefully I can add more tonight before the voting can begin but if I fail to do so any anxious voters have my blessing.

Agreed. I'd like to get at least one rebuttal in before voting starts

I've had two, but now I live down in South Florida and it didn't seem fair to subject another longhair to that . . . so I rescued a Corgi instead. I swear, if I had as many women tell me I was adorable in my lifetime as he gets in one long walk, I'd give up my day job and become a Jonas Brother. :)

Corgis are awesome. It sucks that so many of them have back issues.

I'm going to really try and vote this time. I'm going to go read as much writeup as I can after posting this.

I got my Keeshond as a pup when I was 19 or 20. That Kees puppy attracted more attention from women than a Gerber baby. Needless to say, her life was rich with walks.

Snake, now that Sabas has manned up and started the voting, can you set a deadline for votes to be in by?

Yeah, I figured at this stage may as well give folks until Sunday night.

Hopefully we'll have a pair of finalists determined by then.

I already tried to vote twice and, upon checking back, my posts didn't take. I don't know what's up.

Deadline has passed with just the two votes. Can we get one more person to vote please? Sudden death maybe?
