Match. Don't like the contract, but I can't afford to let him leave for nothing.

Matched. A lot better than I thought I'd have to pay.

The New Orleans Hornets sign Matt Barnes!

Image

2.5M
2.7M
2.9M (PO)

8.1M Total

We love Matt's energy as a floor spacer and defender. He kind of disappeared in the Lakers rotation, but he was awesome in Orlando. He completes our starting 5, but might also play minutes at the 2 or 4, depending on what we do with the rest of our cap.

And Erson Ilyasova!

Image

2.5M
2.7M
2.9M (PO)

We welcome Ersan to our team as a floor stretching 4/3. He is a great big (I'm really high on this guy) and a key is the spacing he brings. We feel that Barnes/Ersan/Hawes is enough of a solid bench/role players to win us a title.

The Houston Rockets have signed Boris Diaw to a 4 year - $27.5M offer. The deal will pay Diaw $ 7.5M 2012 / 7M 2013 / $ 6.5 2014 and a Team Option of $6.5 in 2015. The Rocket love the skill set that Diaw brings with a tremendous feel for the Team game principles that the Rocket feature.
