Those deals are final

Bcortells offer to Erick Spoelstra and Tom Izzo are final @500k a piece

All I need now is bcortells offer for a head coach and we're ready...

Since Gremz signed Woodson, it looks like Gentry is free. I'll pick him up.

Can I rearrange my coaches then?

Head Coach- Spoelstra

Since everyone has a coach, can we figure out the cap and get this thing moving?

I am verifying salaries right now, going off the rosters thread salary totals you guys posted the only things I have noticed so far are:

Dcash you have 50.5, where I see 51.5
Black Ice you have 55.5 where I see 56.5
Bryant08 you haven't rounded your salary.

Fair enough, I was off by a mille I guess. 56.5 it is.

If you can do it yourself why don't we do that for everyone? Instead of waiting for people to send them? I can help if you want, I will add up the salaries on the roster thread and send them to you. You can verify them if you'd like.

The first time around all I did was add together the players salaries that you all had posted and added them together to find out which ones were wrong. Now I went and verified salaries and you were wrong twice.
Andre Igoudalas contract is $11,300,000.00 which translates to $11.5 for this game.

Your teams salary is $57.0

i like the idea of having a thread for each position for free agents...point, center ect. it will be alot easier.

also will there be a trading period before free agency?

will there be one after?

i dont think we should use the email thing because no one else can really see whats going on...

There has been a lot of requests for bidding wars in threads so in the interest of keeping this game fun, tonight I will post a thread for every position and you guys can battle it out.

Vintage I've got an offer for you.

Duncan (20 mill?)
Prince (9.5 mill)

for

Roy (3mill)
Okafor (9 mill)
Iggy (11mill)

You add a top 8 player in Roy to your team and have a lineup of:

Harris
Roy
Iggy
Okafor
Okur

You also save 6.5 mill in the deal. As for me I have a frontcourt of Duncan/Dirk/Prince. Its funny I could have drafted Duncan, but I didn't realize Dirk would fall so far down.

How long is this "bidding war" going to last?

also, is there a rule against putting in more offers than roster spaces? a certain someone has like 20 offers! thats only going to drive prices up.

I agree its pretty ridicules. Plus, how long until offers are finalized? I say 24 hours, it keeps people checking and offering counters to other peoples offers, and it keeps the game moving quickly. Someone else suggested 36 hours.

also, is there a rule about taking back offers? if not, mascot just committed two rosters spots to brand and tmac cause no one is going to up those offers :P

pretty sure his combined current offers put him over the cap, just too many not to. getting to the point where the idea of free agency is going down the drain with this.

Definitely don't think you can take back offers. Cutting someone is an interesting discussion, though. I think you should be able to cut them but they count against your cap.

BTW, Ben Wallace is done for a while too.. So that's three roster spots. He's up to 8 already.
