“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Brooklyn is on the clock at #57, and sports is gonna simulate the remainder of the draft if these picks don't get made tonight.

Yes I did. And I'll be available to make my selection once I'm on the clock.

The Pacers are interested.. But the offer would be Evan Fournier, a couple seconds, and one of Kris Dunn or a 2020 first.. I've learned in this thread I value Evan a lot more than most the other "GM's"..

I do feel like there should be a deal to be made around Delly and Henson and Ian. But I don't know what I'd want added or if you'd even add anything. Doesn't trim money for you, but you get to turn one huge into two big..

These kind of posts are what happens during a week long draft..

Sorry Jay but the Beal offer isn't even worth consideration for me.
I will however consider the Delly + Henson for Mahinmi swap though I don't have future 2nds to add till 2021 and there is no chance I add a first to get that done... so not sure how much interest you have in the straight swap.

stitches wrote:If you want we can do:

UTA gets Beal
OKC gets Favors
WAS gets Hood, Sabonis, 2020 OKC 1st, Wright, Diaw(to be released)

or the Jazz can keep the OKC pick and send you the better of our 2018 picks if that's your preference?

No, then I prefer the Favors + Hood version actually - but I would ask for the better of the 2 picks on top considering the injury history and inconsistency attached to your players. It's fine if you won't pay such a price, it looks like I've got quite a few offers that would interest me equally if not more.

Spens1 wrote:Anyone of interest. I mean we could try for the Melo deal perhaps?

I do have Courtney Lee, Elfrid Payton, Jahlil Okafor, Marc Gasol and other knick players.

Again, can you propose what you're willing to offer? I'd love to work something around Gasol/Melo assuming he's interested in WAS and will waive his NTC as I've mentioned in the past. Beal wasn't necessarily available in such a trade but if he's someone you're interested in, I'd love to see your proposal.

Morris (brothers reunited!)

Gortat (if you'd like to get him off your books)

No interest in Wade which makes that DOA for me. If you could swing something with involving Jay (or another team) to send Wade there and get me pieces (players and/or picks) that fit better with my short and long term needs, I'd be interested.

Mahinmi and Gortat are available if there's any interest from the Blazers side.

No I agree about the Beal suggestion, just all I can offer. Evan is fine in my line up as is.

The Ian for Delly/Henson swap interests me but I'd want to find a third team to tie in getting your 2(?) 2nds for a backup tweener. Which is all I really want honestly, just turning Delly or Dunn into a PF... But boredom has me looking at these bugs deals.

And Wade.. I'd have to send out Delly and Henson to match salaries.. Which should stop anyone's interest.

For Wade, I was thinking your Fournier + Delly + future 1st type deal might be enough and then on top of the return I'm getting from CHI, that might work for all sides? Not sure how it looks exactly but there might be something there. I understand if you don't want to move the younger Fournier for the older Wade though.

Yeah I'd have Evan as more valuable than Wade, and Delly as a slight positive.. So Chicago would have to pay to turn Wade into Evan, then pay to turn Evan into Beal.

Fair and in that case the Pacers probably have no place being in a Beal trade.
We can revisit the Henson+Delly for Mahinmi talks later if you decide a straight swap works for you.

I'm fine facilitating any deal.. Just don't really know what my role would be. I'm not looking to pay to dump Delly or Henson and Washington doesn't value Evan as much as I do so I don't really have a place in Beal to Chicago deal. And I don't value Wade more than Evan.. I feel like Evan would do more to get PG to resign in Indy than Wade would.. Wade and George would have a great year and both expire and leave Indy..

If no one wants Delly, I'll keep him and let Baldwin rot in the Dleague.. And I do need Henson's defense off the bench.. I'd just rather it be someone better than Henson.

How about something along those lines:

IND gets:
Wade, Gortat, John Collins

WAS gets:
Fournier, Morris, Portis, CHI pick swap option in 2018, CHI unprotected 2019

CHI gets:
Beal, Henson

Much more interesting if it's Mahinmi going out instead of Gortat and another 1st (even a later one) instead of a swap in 18. Don't know where the Bulls pick situation is currently so not sure what you've got left.

I wouldn't trade Gortat for Henson so that part alone makes it an easy no go for now... but it's something we can work off of for sure if there's interest from Jay & yourself. Still waiting to hear what NY and Utah have to offer in terms of a final offer.

Chicago is taking Henson in this suggestion. You're not getting a new center.. But subbing Ian in for Gortat would change the value pretty far from Indy's side..
