The Lakers regretfully accept, we were hoping Lebron would choose to stay in LA, but are glad we are able to get one of the top players in the league in return who has one more championships then lebron, we wish Lebron all the best in the east, and will love to kick his a__ in the finals.

and btw Dwade is on the BLOCK no low ball offers looking for a really high return, ie allstar playerS on rookie contracts

I would like an explanation. Why the F did you trade away your newly extended Finals MVP?

Thanks a ton.

The Celtics and Spurs have come to an agreement on a trade:

Celtics trade/Spurs receive:

J.J. Hickson $1,528,920

Spurs trade/Celtics receive:

Mike Dunleavy $10,561,984
SAS 2011 2nd round pick

Works because the Celtics have $21,222,025 in cap room.

The Celtics accept. It pains us to have to admit to striking out in FA, but we like Dunleavy's shooting and general ability to score. We also pick up a 2nd round pick.

San Antonio accepts. Dunleavy was going to be buried on the depth chart and was making a large salary. He went to a contending team where he could be productive and expire at the end of the season.

We add a very good young back-up PF and only lose a future 2nd round pick. It was a win/win situation for San Antonio.

The Celtics, Rockets, and Hornets have come to an agreement on a 3-way deal:

BOS trades:

Jerryd Bayless $2,292,600
CHA’s 2011 1st round pick (if in top 10)

BOS receives:

Jason Richardson $14,444,443

- Works for Celtics because $14,444,443 - $2,292,600 = $12,151,843, and the Celtics have $12,188,961 in cap space (pending approval of the BOS-SAS trade), which is just slightly more than the difference in salaries.

HOU trades:

Jason Richardson $14,444,443

HOU receives:

Goran Dragic $1,972,000
LAL’s 2011 1st round pick

- Works for Rockets because they’re sending out more salary than they’re receiving.

NOH trades:

Goran Dragic $1,972,000
LAL’s 2011 1st round pick

NOH receives:

Jerryd Bayless $2,292,600
CHA’s 2011 1st round pick (if in top 10)

- Works for Hornets because $1,972,000 X 1.25 + 100,000 = $2,565,000, which is more than Bayless’ salary. (The Hornets also have enough cap room anyway.)

The Celtics accept. We’re excited to bring in a stud SG in Richardson whose contract expires next offseason. We like Bayless’ potential, but we’re trying to win now, so he doesn’t help with that too much.

Houston accepts because this frees up our finances a significant amount, and we get a pick also. Richardson is talented, but he's doesn't really fit into our team.

Hornets Accept. We were pretty dedicated to maximizing cap space, but adding Bayless for 300k in space is fine by us. While we're not certain if Bayless will be a high performer after just his second year, but we like his high ceiling down the road and we're going to allow him to play more naturally as a combo guard back up to Roy. The upgrade to our G rotation from Dragic to Bayless was too good to turn down.

We were also more likely to part with the LAL pick after the Lakers got Wade because their pick will be lower than if James left for nothing. We already have Charlotte's lotto protected pick, now we have 1-10 covered as well. We'll likely try to work out a deal to take the 11-14 protection out of the pick so we own it outright.

Orlando and Indiana have reached an agreement...

Nate Robinson/Dwight Howard

for

Vince Carter/Josh Smith/Jarret Jack/Aaron Afflalo/2013 unprotected 1st

$4,750,000 + $16,509,600 = $21,259,600

$17,522,375 + $11,600,000 + $2,000,000 + $1,959,577 = $33,081,952

Orlando has more than enough capspace to make this work.

We are extremely sad to see Dwight go but we made him a promise that fell through so we will send him to a better situation. We feel he deserves to be on a winning team and we can not provide that at this time. We already have what could be the next Dwight(Favors) on a cheaper contract so we will move him to center. We like the defense/offense and excitement that Josh Smith will bring at a reasonable pricetag. Vince Carter fills the scoring void we have as well as the SF void. We feel he will be good for the one year we have him and then expire in 2011 leaving us as a major player in that overlooked FA class. The competition should be more conduscive for us at that time. We also get to shed Nate's contract for the smaller deal of Jarret Jack as well as adding a nice young defensive SG in Afflalo. The 2013 1st will also come in handy as we traded away most of our picks in the attempt to land LeBron.

Orlando accepts

Edit - This deal is contigent upon the LeBron to Miami deal not being overturned.

We also feel this deal fit what we were looking for as posted in the discussion thread when I 1st made Dwight available.

Indiana accepts, we hate to lose our starting 2 guard, who still to this day is one of the best wingman in the league, and Josh Smith, our young athletic counterpart to Amare, along with pieces like Jack/Afflalo/1st, but couldn't pass on an oppurtunity to get Dwight, a true superstar upfront to add to our young core than can compete for a championship. Him teaming with Granger, Rondo, and Amare, the future and present is bright in Indiana.

Edit - This deal is contigent upon the LeBron to Miami not being overturned.

The Bobcats and Hornets have agreed to a trade:

Jerryd Bayless 2,292,600
Rights to Fran Vazquez

for

Von Wafer 2,200,000
2012 CHA 1st
*as part of the deal, Charlotte agrees to remove the 11-14 protection that remained on their 2011 1st. NOH owned the pick from 1-10 and 15-30 and now owns the pick outright.

NOH Agrees. We liked Bayless quite a bit as a combo guard behind Roy, but we're happy to add Wafer as a capable back up and the 2012 pick was enough incentive to convince us to part with Bayless. We were hoping to bring Vazquez over as a backup 4/5 within the next year or two, but trading his rights seemed to balance out this trade and make it palatable for both sides.

CHA accepts

We believe that Bayless is a star in the making and just needs time. Fran (Should he ever decide to come over) could prove to be a very serviceable big behind Gasol and Kmart.

Contingent on previous deal ^

The Charlotte Bobcats and San Antonio Spurs have agreed on the following.

Charlotte will send

Andres Nocioni - 6,850,000
Jerryd Bayless - 2,292,600

Total: 9,142,600 x 1.25 = 11,428,250 > 11,147,760

San Antonio will send

Tayshaun Prince - 11,147,760

Deal works. We're excited to add a player of Tayshaun Prince's caliber to our team. While we still believe Bayless is a star, Prince is better for us in the short term.

San Antonio accepts.

We believe Bayless is going to be a very good PG in this league. Bayless/Terrence Williams/Earl Clark are going to make for hell of a defensive backcourt.

While Nocioni is a bit over-paid, San Antonio has a very small payroll moving forward and we thought the veteran leadership and toughness he brings to the team are worth taking on his slightly overpaid contract.

We also shed a bit more salary this season.

POSTING FOR THE CLIPPERS GM:

The Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a trade:

Washington Sends:
Acie Law IV $2,940,844
Alondo Tucker $1,934,455
Washington's 2011 Unprotected First round Pick

Los Angeles Sends:
TE worth 4,875,299

The Clippers accept this deal. Since we're in a full-on rebuilding mode, we pick up another valuable first round pick in next year's draft and since both guys are young, they may be able to help us out.

^Wizards accept.

I'm not high on the pick anyways, I like my young core, and I wanted to clear a little room for trades and maybe a few FA signings. It was a high price to pay, but I wanted a few roster spots as well.

Salary obviously work.

Atlanta do this deal because Murphy is a much better fit to our current roster. He have a lot more range then KMart so he will help to spread the floor he is also a better rebounder than KMart while KMart is a much better shot blocker and defender. We believe our defense is solid enough so at this point we value range and rebounds more than what KMart brings us.

Troy is a couple of years younger so if we decide to extend our PF i would be more comfortable to extend the younger guy. Songaila will help our depth he is a serviceable expiring.

Trade approved
