SUNS & PISTON MAKE MOVE

The Phoenix Suns sent PF/C Channing Frye to the Detroit Pistions in exchange for JJ Barea and rookie CJ Leslie.

Detroit needed to strengthen their front court having moved Anderson Varejao and Channing Frye Brings a complimentary skill set with the low post presence of Amir Johnson and Brandon Bass. His ability to operate from the high post will allow the Pistons Back court to penetrate and dish to the outstanding shooters.

Miami and NY Knicks have a S&T to announce

Miami sends
A.Morrow $4,000,000
Flynn $4,329,865

NYK trades
Billups $8,000,000

Miami accepts to get Mr Big Shot a shot to go out a champion. It really sucks losing a guy who i view as one of the best 3 point shooters in the game in Morrow and a talented prospect in Flynn. But it had to be done

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a huge sign and trade.

Tim Ducan has decided to finish his career off in Brooklyn and agreed to a 2 year 11 million per deal.

The trade is as follows:

Atlanta Outgoing / Brooklyn Incoming:

Tim Duncan - $11,000,000
Manu Ginobili - $14,107,491
Shane Battier - $6,240,000
Totals: $31,347,491

Nets Outgoing / Hawks Incoming:

Al Jefferson - $15,000,000
Wilson Chandler - $8,563,750
Kevin Seraphin - $1,797,600
Totals: $25,361,350 x 1.25 % +100,000 = $31,801687

Salaries Work.

We Accept.
This deal just fits our "Superdy Douper Win RIGHT Now Team". Nash / Gino / Peirce / Gasol / Duncan with Battier and MLE / BAE for a bench is pretty gosh darn steller. We love what we've become. This has to make our russian billionaire owner very happy. Good daling Luke!

BLOCKBUSTER MOVE BETWEEN PDX AND NOH:

PDX sends out:

NOH sends out:
John Wall ($5,915,880)
Carlos Boozer ($15,000,000)
Landry Fields (S&T $6,000,000)
Sebastian Telfair ($2,750,000)

Total: $26,665,880

Works because NOH has the Cap Room.

We hate losing Wall, but after missing out on Dwight just for getting Boozer, we decided it was time to make a big move for a proven winner like Kobe who will attract some of the Tier2 FA who are left! GREAT DEALING PDX!

Denver trades the rights to Perry Jones and the contracts of Chase Budinger, Marshon Brooks, and Jose Calderon to Cleveland in exchange for the rights to James McAdoo and the contracts of Steve Blake and Dequan Cook.

We do this to upgrade our SF position with a potential superstar while keeping a shooter next to Turner. Dequan Cook will be a very good player coming off the bench behind Turner. This gives us 4 potential superstar players in Lawson, Turner, McAdoo, and Sullinger.

we do this deal to get young talent and expirings.. Perry Jones has all the physical tools, the off court demeanor to be a superstar. Humble, hardworking, and selfless. We believe a young core of Irving, Jones and Valanciunas. Irving is a great blend of Billups and Paul with his vision and savvy. Valanciunas is a quick, agile, mobie, high motor C in the mold of Dwight Howard, only less athletically gifted, but with more skill(compared to DHo when he entered). Perry Jones has been compared to Kevin Garnett. We are ecstatic to all have them.. We also get Brooks, who is a BEAST athletically (with a 7'1" wingspan) and Budinger, who has proven that he can start in this league :)

deal works due to OKC being plenty far enough under the cap

We wanted to get younger at the PF position even though it is costing us almost 5mil in money to play with for FA. We take back a future 1st as compensation for taking on that extra money.

OKC accepts

TORONTO & DETROIT EXECUTE DEAL

The Toronto Raptors have acquired Jason Terry and Kyle Singler ($,6750,000 + $$25,400 = $7,175,400) in exchange for Jordan Hill, Nikola Mirotic & Damion James ($3,632,257+$1,112,800+$1,329,720=$6,074,777).

The 5 day hold on FA Jason Terry has passed so this deal now works under the rules.

Detroit needed to shore up their front line and with the signing of Reggie Jackson found Terry to be valuable player to move in this deal. They are very pleased to add James and the potential of Mirotic to their depth. Mirotic could be a special talent in the league & expects to stay with the Pistons after his outstanding play for Real Madrid in 2011.

I really think that Maynor have been an overlooked player since he is on such a deep team, and I like that Monta is two years younger than Martin. The Kings are happy to make this trade. We finally get help at point guard and small forward. We've been looking for help there all game. But most trade offers we got either bent us over a table or just weren't interesting enough to pull the trigger. This deal gives us two quality veteran players at positions of need for nothing.
