You're not allowed to redraft? I'm too lazy (and swamped) to try to figure out which thread Shaq ruled on this matter in.

Gotcha. Couldn't remember. For reference, DO NOT take this as an exhaustive list, but here are the people I can think of off the top of my head that are injured and either shouldn't be drafted or should be drafted with caution.

Andrew Bynum
Brendan Haywood
Gilbert Arenas
Michael Redd
Tracy McGrady
Amar'e Stoudamire
Andrew Bogut

Again, I'm sure i'm missing a few (or more), but at least beware of these players.

I thought Bogut would be back before the season ended...

If he's not, maybe he could apply for an injured player exception during free agency? If Bogut makes 10 million, grant him a 5 million dollar exception during FA. Just a thought...

Now if we limited it to maybe 2-3 players someone could get bird rights on, I could try and work with that idea. In the end it's up to Shaq, so we'll have to see what he says.

or we could make it every gm has a maximum of 3 offer per player but i like ur idea in which each team gets a bird right on a player or 2

I like it as well, but how would we order it? Maybe kind of like the draft exept in reverse? Like if you picked 1st you pick last in terms of choosing a player?

I have a plan, and it's VERY risky, but if it pays off, it'll pay dividends for my team.

CAT-ROUND 5-bryant08-ON THE CLOCK

Post#156 » by Sports Arsenal » Fri Mar 27, 2009 1:54 am

The draft order will be as followed:

1. ..c.a.p... - Josh Smith
2. dcash4- Shane Battier
3. bness888- Mo Williams
4. bcortell - Hedo Turkoglu
5. Vintage - Jeff Green
6. Arvydas1221- OJ Mayo
7. bringbackhoffa - Derrick Fisher
8. Black Ice - Russell Westbrook
9. Gremz - Gerald Wallace
10. MJallday59- John Salmons
11. bryant08 -
12. Mascot -

Each team will have 6 hours from the time the team ahead of him drafts to make their pick. Draft times will be from 9am-11pm CST.

To make things a little simpler, I will post CBSSports Player Rankings. After a player is drafted I will italicize his name on the rankings.

When you draft a player, please post a time stamp of when you made your pick. For some reason, I have seen in the past RealGM's timestamp be off. This will assure everyone of what time the clock is up on a team. If the clock has expired, the following team will automatically be on the clock as well and his time will start.

1. LeBron James
2. Dwyane Wade
3. Chris Paul
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Dirk Nowitzki
6. Kevin Durant
7. Dwight Howard
8. Brandon Roy
