BI, your trade seemed to already have been approved on the last page. Anyways, either way it's approved now.

Golden State accepts. It was hard giving up Curry and taking back some longer contract to get Jennings, but we think this move puts us in a better position for future moves. We also did this to prevent Jennings scoring 55 against us again. Ha, now what Brandon Jennings? You can't score 55 points against your own team. It was nice dealing with you Mil.

Trade approved, please update rosters.

Charlotte, Boston, and Atlanta have come to terms on a 3 way deal. Prior to the deal, the Charlotte Bobcats waive the unguaranteed contract of Stephen Graham.

Boston Trades:
Brian Scalabrine $3,413,793
Glen Davis $3,000,004
2010 BOS 2nd

Boston Receives:
Stephen Jackson $7,650,000

$6.4x1.25 = 8>7.65

Charlotte Trades:
Stephen Jackson $7,650,000
Jeff Foster $6,077,500
Ray Felton $5,501,196
2011 CHA 2nd

Charlotte Receives:
Al Horford $4,307,640
Zaza Pachulia $4,750,000
Brian Scalabrine $3,413,793
Maurice Evans $2,500,000
Jason Collins $825,497

outgoing>incoming

Atlanta Trades:
Al Horford $4,307,640
Zaza Pachulia $4,750,000
Maurice Evans $2,500,000
Jason Collins $825,497

Atlanta Receives:
Jeff Foster $6,077,500
Glen Davis $3,000,004
Ray Felton $5,501,196
2010 BOS 2nd
2011 CHA 2nd

12.38x1.25 = 15.48 > 14.6

Charlotte accepts. I said it from the beginning, this team needs a change in overall culture. We've been able to win some games with Crash/S-Jax's effective wing production, but I want to become a much younger and more talented team overall. Al Horford is the type of big I'd sell the farm for, a great defender with a well rounded offensive game. Horford/Crash are two major pieces of our future. We had to take on some salary and give up some talent in Jax/Felton/Foster, but that's the price you've got to pay.

Boston accepts. Glen is part of our future and will end up a solid role player in the next 5-8 years but this deal will fortify our bench and helps our win now objective. Jax will provide toughness on our defense and offense. 2nd round pick wont hurt since it will most likely be insignificant.

Atlanta accepts. We get good post men to fill the Horford hole, and Raymond gives us some solid youth at the PG spot. We get rid of Pachulia's long-term commitment while keeping all useful players that can help us out in the future.

1 fly in the ointment David Lee is BYC so that deal needs to be fixed.

Magic will send

Marcin Gortat - 5,854,000
Outgoing (BYC) - 2,927,000

JJ Redick - 2,839,408

True Total : 8,693,408

Total Outgoing (w/ Gortat BYC)- 5,766,408 x 1.25 = 7,208,010 > 7,000,000
2010 1st

Knicks will send

David Lee - 7,000,000

7,000,000 x 1.25 = 8,750,000 > 8,693,408 (Orlando's true outgoing)

Deal Works!

Trade #2

NYK will send Jared Jeffries (6,466,600) to Orlando for TPE (Hedo Turkoglu)

We're not too thrilled with Jeffries deal, but we're excited about adding David Lee to our team. He should relieve some of the rebounding pressure from Dwight and should be a perfect fit in our uptempo offense. Magic accept

Just to show some math here:

Orl outgoing: Lee (BYC) 3.5 (he made $1,788,033 the year prior, so it's the higher of the two, or 3.5)
Orl incoming: 8,693,408

Doesn't work. Sorry guys, just noticed this.

Nah, the trade machine is screwed up. Try it as two separate deals in it. It doesn't work.

When going through the trades, I noticed that Lee was BYC, but I was confused towards which trades were approved, and which were not, since some that had been approved, prior trades had not been approved, and obviously the trades after that. But since it was so confusing, glancing at the roster limits, I just approved all the trades, completely forgetting about the Lee BYC.

I'm sorry Orlando, but I don't think I can keep it as a "accepted" status, so the deal will be rescinded, due to the numbers not working.

NOH Gets: Eric Gordon + Chris Kaman + Marcus Camby + Minny 2010 1st

Why? We feel this deal doesn't make our team that much worse and when all our bad contracts come off in 2011 we should be a team ready to make a run in the Western Confrence.

Also, New Orleans waives Devin Brown

CP3 for Gordon and Kaman.

LAC sends: Eric Gordon $2,819,880, Chris Kaman $10,400,000, Marcus Camby $9,150,000, 2010 min protected 1st = $22,369,880 x 1.25 + 1K = $28,062,350

LAC gets: Chris Paul $13,520,500, Peja Stojakovic $13,392,000 = $26,912,500

NOH sends: Chris Paul $6,760,250 BYC, Peja Stojakovic $13,392,000 = $20,152,250 x 1.25 + 1K = $25,290,312

NOH gets: Eric Gordon $2,819,880, Chris Kaman $10,400,000, Marcus Camby $9,150,000, 2010 min protected 1st = total $22,369,880

After reviewing the time stamps I have still received one veto on this trade after it was changed Since it is early in the trade it is still under its normal waiting period for approval.

had another veto on this. 3 in total.

ok so I had a long post made on this, and posted it and it never came up. I dont feel like writing it again so heres the jest of it. NOH had decent reasons why he wanted to do the trade. However, i contacted some people outside the game and asked their opinion on it and they agree with the vetos. While the trade does suit the needs of NOH team right now. The value in return for Chris Paul was just not there. Any trade involving Chris Paul should have started with Griffin and then begun to spread out from there. Trade Denied.
