That's a very good question.

Potentially a first time for everything.

I don't think so, but me and SD are both trend setters.

It almost happened twice, though.
The Cavs and Heat discussed a doubt S&T between LeBron and Deng when LeBron announced he was returning to the Cavs. It would have allowed the Heat to sign a FA before matching all their RFA's and then still acquire a replacement for LeBron.

It was also almost completed between the Mavs and Cavs in 2010 - the Mavericks wanted Shaq for Brendan Haywood but the teams couldn't come to terms.

As far as the deal, yeah, that's something I'd definitely be interested in though I'd send you Portis as your replacement PF instead of Morris because Morris is really important to the Wizards success and we're hoping to have him be a super-sub behind Griffin & Gortat.

This is the article in reference to what Nash is speaking on.

I was wishing for Morris. Does he really make a better sub than a starter? Another reason was to fall within the guideline of the CBA. I would not mind Portis as his potential to better player in the league is likely. He will have to continue to work on his consistency and effort for this to be realized.

I'm sorry bud, but the other deal just offered me too much of what I wanted to say no to it.
Being able to dump Mahinmi and add Delly on top of getting a replacement for Beal along with multiple picks was too much to pass up on.

I'm still interested in Hood if you're looking to move him for a future pick, though.

No worries. I'm not interested in moving Hood for future assets right now.

Cheers.

I hope it's not a dealbreaker because I'd really like to keep Morris, I believe the salaries will work either way with Portis or Morris so it shouldn't be a problem in that regard. Obviously all this depends on both Griffin and Porter accepting their final destination, but if you're ready to handshake on it we can and then leave it up to SportsCrazy to decide whether it gets done or not.

Understandable - did you mention that you've already moved Burks or is he still on the Jazz?
I'd have interest in adding him as a backup though I'm not sure what we can work out given his salary... if you even still have him.

I moved him to Dallas. What would your offer have been, just out of curiosity?

What are your plans regarding Furkan Korkmaz? Would you entertain trading his rights, and if so, what's your asking price? If we're in the same ballpark, I'd be very interested. Assuming, that is ...

First off sports, I'm sorry to bug you on your MUCH deserved Memorial Day Weekend break (and I'm not expecting you to reply to this until next week)!

As his agent, can you let me know if Korkmaz would join the Pistons next season if we were to trade for his rights?

Thank you both, and have a great long weekend!

Just throwing it out to everyone but what would the combination of Domas Sabonis (or tj leaf) and a 2020 top 5 protected first get me?

I seem to have a soft agreement with the jazz over Derrick Favors, but they appear to be searching for a better deal If it's available (don't blame you one bit stitches, that's exactly what you should be doing until we've officially agreed!). I value Favors pretty highly and think his down year was a product of injury only, so you'll have to beat that offer out. Additionally, I'm preserving cap space so the deal could not be completed until I've signed a free agent. Primarily looking for a power forward or a small forward.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I'll tell you what. I'll PM sportscrazy about the deal and ask if the deal meets the CBA provisions as both teams are over the cap as is.

The Utah Jazz are wondering if the Spurs will be pursuing a max free agent, whether or not they will be willing to part ways with Danny Green for capspace/non-guaranteed contract?

The Jazz would like to inquire about Klay Thompson's availability.

The Pacers offseason is likely done once we overpay Jeff Teague. I think 6 new players is about as far as I can go while keeping the 2016 Pacers showing.

The only types of deals I should do are using Kris Dunn (or Wade Baldwin) to upgrade one of the new pieces I added (Evan Fournier or Marcus Morris).. Again just to keep the "core" of the 2016 Pacer team... I'd like to trade Thad, as most Pacer fans wouldn't mind it, but don't think I should.

We are happy with Ian back on the roster... But I need to play Turner at the four for stretches every night to justify 16 million dollars so I'm not looking to trade Thad for a PF who can slide to center anymore (sorry DF)..

I don't expect much interest in Evan+Dunn for a better SG, or Morris+Dunn for a better tweener... but that's what I would be hoping to do.

We are offering capspace relief.

UTA gets Danny Green
SAS gets Boris Diaw(who is non-guaranteed, you can waive him before July 15)+SAS 2022 second round pick.

Kinda at my limit with trades since I shipped off 5 of the Magic's guys already. Plus TRoss is on a fair short-term contract and is a good fit at the 2guard for me for the next 2 seasons.

With that said, I'd still listen to offers and if it was good enough I'd do it... don't really have anything specific in mind tho.

Spurs would like to look at options to clear cap space. Pau Gasol, Ish Smith, and Danny Green are all available. I would like to see what options are available in possible trade scenarios.

I am. Just shopping around a little bit. Need to dump Ish too if I'm going to make this work.
