Don't forget injuries and accidents that took it a step above just injury and the Soviet Union.

I've been unlucky in this draft, in that each turn the guy I really wanted (Kobe, Penny, McDyess) has gone right before me. That said, I do feel reasonably comfortable with my team.

I'm gonna type it out so I can visualise what holes to fill.

Jason Kidd / Derek Harper
Glen Rice / Byron Scott
James Worthy / Rolando Blackman
Rasheed Wallace
Patrick Ewing

Penny(28)/Smith(20)
Hawkins(28)/Penny(12)
Hill(40)
Nance(32)/
Hakeem(40)/Nance(8)

Bowen on reserve along with McMillan I guess.

Also Luke-- I saw your draft post, just a minor note: Glen was pretty much always a SF. He's a bit slow footed. This isn't an era for ultra quick SGs though, so you should be able to make it work, and the dude's just a sickeningly good shooter.

Duncan/
Rodman/
Pippen/
/Robertson
Iverson/Strickland

I'm liking my team for both of the final 2 eras

^I'm liking it a lot more for the final era, but it's my kinda team except Iverson even for this one. Honestly, I've wanted to build around Iverson in one of these for a while now. This was the perfect excuse with Hakeem, but I didn't pull the trigger.

edit: and for fun...a couple people picked so far that are statistically a lot more ridiculous than I remembered:

Penny:
His 95-96 season was absurd. 60.5% TS, 122 ORTG, .229 WS/48, 32% AST% and kept his USG barely above 25%. For the people not into advanced stats, he was an unfairly efficient scorer with 22 a game, 7 assists, 4 boards, 2 steals, and shot well enough from everywhere on the field in addition to being a mismatch for every PG but Gary Payton, and even that was stretching it.

Kemp:
Again 95-96. 63% TS, 97 DRTG (amazing defensive team may be skewing this), .205 WS/48, over 20% RebRt. Again for regular stats...20 points on 12 shots with 11.5 rebounds.

Hill:
In 96-97, a year off of being second in the league in defensive rebounds (seriously), he posted a .223 WS/48, a ridiculously low perimeter DRTG of 100, high rebound and ast rates for his position especially and went for 21, 7, 9 on 50% shooting.

Magic/GP
GP/???/Lewis
King/Lewis
Willis/Kemp/Dyse
Daugherty/Willis

Next era
GP/Dyse

Im most likely going to go unbalanced with this team. With Magic, Lewis, Willis being able to play multiple positions Ill be running 3 man rotations at guard and the big spots.

You counted Buck twice and forgot Barros for me, but it's not a biggie.

We should start a new roster page just because it's annoying to go to the second page just to find rosters.
