All the remaining FA are able to be bidden on and you do not have to wait for a tier to post. You are also able to withdraw any bid as along as it is before the 12 hr window.

If I want to buyout a player do I have to buyout their player option too?

If Caine or Kesh doesn't set a schedule soon, I'll take back over as commish AGAIN and get this puppy back on board. Hopefully one of them do, so I can focus on my Lakers. Thanks.

Caine said that there is about a week left of FA, then season 2 would start. I think he said that last Thursday.

I believe we should finish off the second season within the next 2 or 3 days. Trading really has died off and interest in the game has died off as well, other then a handful of GMs most of whom who own 2 teams are carrying the activity of the game.

I think it would probably be best to try and finish this game by the end of March, that way the names of some of the players who have been drafted and will be drafted in this game will be fresh in our minds with most of us watching the NCAA tourney.

Im sick of waking up to find I want to be replaced because I am not around 24/7.

1. I'll say 24 hours
2. Within a day of season ending
3. 4 days
4. Pay attention please we aren't doing it
5. Whenever who is running FA feels they should start it
6. After FA for season 2, I still need to get a date

I can 100% understand the frustration expressed here.

One of the things I have been thinking about in my first time playing this game is wondering why the leadership of this game is in so few hands. I will flesh this out in the other thread at some point, but I really like the idea of having committees made of multiple GM's for each aspect of the game. A trade committee of say 5 guys who can approve trades, but also flag them for violations or for further review for fairness(the current veto process is terrible). Draft committee of maybe 3 guys who can create and post a list of 100-150 draft eligible players so we don't have any disputes over who is and isnt eligible and so one guy doesnt have to give up an entire day to running the whole thing. A Free Agency committee of 5 who all review every FA offer separately and then get together to compare results. Where there is consensus or clear majority, the decision is obvious, otherwise they debate it. This way the entire game isnt swung on the decision of just one guy.

anyway that went on longer than I intended here, but it would ease the pressure on the commish as well as help keep the game moving more efficiently etc...

It will be impossible to find 5 people who arent playing the game to be on the 'free agency board' We have a hard enough time filling in all gm spots. No one who is playing in the game should have a decision on free agency as there is an obvious bias, no matter if they are bidding on a particular free agent or not. (agent may not want a free agent to sign with a particular team as it may make it more difficult to make playoffs, and plenty other reasons i really dont wnt to get into)

I think I could easily round up guys from the main Trade Forum to step in to review Free Agents for the game. Plenty of smart guys over there who could make sound decisions and I feel really confident I can recruits guys to do that. Harder to recruit guys to make the time commitment for playing out the entire game than to give a couple hours to help out.

anyway it's simply an idea but one that makes sense to me for lots of reasons you probably dont want me to get into.

I think the only aspect of the game we need more people for is approving trades. From what I've seen in the games I've played, one person can handle each of the following: free agency, draft, playoffs.
