With Mehmet Okur released, the Trailblazers would like to attempt to sign him to a minimum contract. Please let me know if he accepts.

The Cavaliers are pleased to announce that they have signed Spencer Hawes to a 3 year, 8 million dollar deal. We feel like he can grow with our young team and develop into a damn good big man.

The New York Knicks are relieved to announce the signing of Chauncey Billups to a 4 year $32.305M contract which will pay the outstanding PG $7,500,000 in 2012 and 13 and escalate to $8.25 in 204 and $9.055 in 2015. The final 2 years are not guaranteed. Billups wanted to remain with the Knicks for a chance at another championship and knew this sacrifice would help in light of the new Hard Cap.

As of now there is no more cuts for amnesty. Free agency list will be updated in the morning, I believe Evans is the only player without offers, he is still accepting offers.

The Charlotte Bobcats have signed CJ Miles to a 3 year, 15M deal.

5M
5M
5M (PO)

We had trouble finding a scoring 3 in the trading market, so we decided to sign one. He is inconsistent, but with Pietrus, Twill and Cunningham all capable at the 3, he will only be expected to play big minutes when he is hot. He has proven that as a starter he can be great (16/4/2 in 32 MPG) and that when he is a backup he isn't as good (12/3/1.5 in 23 MPG) so we will start him and play him.

The Cavaliers have made the tough decision to let go both Alonzo Gee and Semih Erden in order to slim our active roster to the maximum limit of 15 players. We wish them well moving forward.
