Anyone under the cap or have a small TPE interested in Pape Sy ($ 788k) and a 2nd round pick or two?

Not into the luxury tax, but I might head into it by only 200k or so by adding a veteran player. Would like to avoid it, and will offer two 2nd rounders owed to me by Phoenix in 2012 and Houston in 2013.

Miami here. I have a $6m-ish TPE since I gave out around that much in my last trade. A TPE is created like that, right?

If so, I'll take your deal. I'm far, far below the luxury tax right now and used up my MLE/BAE.

Thanks, but I saw your response to my other minimum contract info...I was factoring slightly over 1 mil for the minimum, but you said it is actually about 850k...so if that is the case for 1yr minimum contracts then, I probably wouldn't need to shed salary as I'm only 200k if that, into the lux tax.

Am I right in that assessment or no? If not, then yes I'd still need to do the deal...thanks btw.

Yep. AFAIK, in the actual NBA, if you sign a 1-year deal for a player above 2 years of experience, then it'll automatically be reflected in the salary cap as a 2-year veteran's minimum deal, and that's what the team pays. The league pays the rest of it.

Miami's at:

Samuel Dalembert / Brendan Haywood / Kevin Seraphin
Chris Bosh / Ryan Anderson
LeBron James / Jamal Crawford / Travis Outlaw
Nick Young / Courtney Lee
Kyrie Irving / Gilbert Arenas

Also have 2012 NY 1st, 2012 SAS 1st, 2013 WAS 1st.

Not really sure what I'm looking for lol. Perhaps a defender? Willing to include picks for an upgrade.

Also willing to deal Irving for a star. Offer away~

Oh ok...but technically you only have the player for 1 year?

Warriorfan, if you could respond to my email (I sent one to GM_A_Team@yahoo.com) so we can discuss the trade I proposed, that would be great. I just sent it this morning, but I have seen that you posted recently, so I want to make sure it sent. Thanks

Sorry I've been so MIA guys. I'm having significant computer issues right now, but I'm hoping I can get it fixed here in the next couple of days. I'll get back to you guys as soon as I can.

Sorry, not a two-year veteran's minimum deal, but a minimum deal for a two-year veteran. I should've worded it better.

Portland is looking to shake things up!

Paul/A Johnson/Price
Allen/Anderson/Diebler
Hill/Leonard/Daye
West/J Johnson
Aldridge/Okafor/Grey

Everyone available. Not looking to break up players, I have plenty of depth, so not looking to trade Paul or LMA for a package of three players. Definitely open to trading Paul though, as well as LMA, if I can get a decent return for him.

Offer up!

I was wondering if someone can help me since the commissioner has FALLEN off the face of the earth. Brandon Roy retired and i unfortunately signed him. Would I get an exception or some sort of compensation ? I wasted my mid level on the guy and didn't make to many moves at that position ? Any thoughts ?

Kevin Durant, and 13 mill TPE on the block for 24 hours. Or Love and any other asset outside of Durant for an elite option.
