Gerald Wallace please.

What does that Make? Rondo, Byrant, Wallace, KG, Horford?

Hope you're signing some shooters!

Edit: I also hope the other team doesn't lose it's teeth before they can pick them up off the ground from that defense.

^that's sort of what I was getting at. Although KG has a nice midrange jumper...Wallace has one. He just doesn't use it.

Derek Fisher

Current Lineup
Fisher
Keven Martin
Carmelo
Millsap
Howard

btw i am gona have some fun with free agency with such a light payrolll

I would be worried about starting Fisher on this team. Primarily because he's not what you think of as a facilitator. You've got KMart, Melo, and Howard who all need the ball...

However, if he eventually ends up being your back-up PG/sixth man, there's nothing wrong with that.

Even now this is a solid lineup. Terrific rebounding, two good shooters, two fantastic scorers. A little light on defense, but overall pretty nice.

Btw, it's "Kevin" not Keven.

I need a tough defensive big man here. He may not be the most offensively talented player left, but I've got to go with Kendrick Perkins here.

I think the bird rights thing is just strange and the wrong way to do it.

Free For All free agency is the way to go, otherwise whats the point of the cap.

I set myself up purposely so that I will have a much lower salary than most everyone else and can afford to pay more.

wat i dont want to see is something like one gm offers a player 1M and then another offers 1.5M and then another offers 2M.. with so many offer going to be happening u could lose track whether or not u have the highest bid. I was hoping where there could be something where each gm would be allowed a maximum of 3 offers to a player so if ur bid does get beat u could still top it.. wat this would do is make sure there is no low ball offers since u r allowed only three offer sheets

what do u think. this will let gms with large cap room still have the advantage.

I like this, it just raises the question of who has bird rights to who???

we shoud just leave it a biddin war.... it will be fun that way.... ppl wont go that high just to get one player, no bidding limit.... just an all out bidding war.... each team only need 7 more players... how bad could it get?

There are 2 options:

There will be no bird rights

The original GM to offer player X a contract will have the chance to beat any offer a player is given.
Other than that each GM is only going to have 2 bids per player

For example:
Mascot offers Jose Calderon 5m
Vintage beats Mascots offer with an offer of 6m
Mascot now has the option to beat it, he does with 8m.
Now Vintage has the option to beat Mascots offer BUT this is his last chance so he better make it good, Vintage offers Calderon 12m. Mascot now may beat his offer or let Vintage pick up Calderon.

The only problem with that idea is, if you throw a third team in that scenario it becomes very confusing

Or We can just do it like coaches.

Give me some feedback.

btw... Sorry if I haven't been on as much as normal, I have been very very sick

im for the bidding war where its free for all

someone offers some guy 5 mill at 12:41 you can offer 5.5 mill at 12:42

but maybe do like, players accept offers after 24 hours instead of the 48

i like the two bid thing, that way we aren't wasting time low balling for players. its more work for shaqsux and cellardoor if people are going back and forth with .5 increments. i think you should create 5 different threads, one for each position. that way its a little easier to manage who's getting what offer.
